Elegant home design photo in Philadelphia

The original decorative plaster work on this ceiling dates back 100 years. The ceiling was damaged from a water leak above. The original pieces were molded, and new components were cast and applied. The molding was wood grained in mahogany. The flush fireplace was marbleized. The brick fireplaces were painted white for many years. One was faux painted with sandstone colors, and the other was done with colors from surrounding wall paper.
