This gorgeous wide plank antique Oak is our most requested floor! With dramatic widths ranging from 6 to 12 inches (14 inches in some cases), you can easily bring an old-world charm into your home. This product comes to you completely pre-finished and ready to install. We start by hand sanding the surface, beveling the edges ever so slightly, and being careful to preserve the historical integrity of the planks. Typically, about 80% of your flooring will be "Smooth" with the remaining 20% having a slight texture from the original saw kerfs. This material will also have nail holes, knots, and checks which only adds to the unique character. Next, we apply Waterlox, a tung oil based sealant with or without stain added. Finally, 3 coats of Vermont Polywhey finish are added with a hand buffing between coats. The result is a luxurious satiny finish that you can only get from Historic Flooring! This modern, contemporary, glossy, underwater resin on wood panel is layered with aqua, aquamarine, Aruba blue pigments, white epoxy paste, and hints of sparkle. A cool toned color palette was used to create this multi-layered dimensional seascape.

Home was designed to be a formal house but was now being used as a weekend retreat. Ann Kenkel had to decorate the house in a manner which was coastal enough so owner's felt like they were on vacation yet formal enough for the style of the house. AK found the house filled with wallpaper from the 1980's. Wallpaper from every room was removed and all trim had to be painted a neutral color. The formal dining room only had one entry. AK opened up a second entry into the dining room which provided a view of the Chesapeake Bay. Land2c The fence siding matches the house. Many hydrangea vines are beginning to cover the fencing to green up the 'walls' of the garden. The large red container allows planting close to the tree roots and adds colorful interest to the area. The glass 'flowers' are still bright in the winter.The glass and begonia colors echo each other.

This little girls bedroom was a joy to create, the family heirloom bed was given a huge facelift with an upholstered bed drapery treatment. The custom designed cabinetry has a paint glaze and inset beaded doors add to the detailing. Two chandeliers hang at either side of the room, the largest being located over the tea table, where lazy Sunday afternoons will be spent with Teddy and Rosie enjoying tea and crumpets.

A relatively new product from Ralph Lauren, this is Polished Patina in "Old Rock Crystal". It is a troweled finish that has a lovely pearlized effect and looks beautiful in any room.
