This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. Sometimes it really is all in the details... and the storage! By gutting this small NYC bath back to its stub walls and all walls back to the underlying cinder block exterior wall we were not only able to expand the space by a few precious inches that make all the difference, but we were also able to create a beautiful shower storage solution in stunning Statuary honed marble.

Beautiful custom runner to match the unique measurements of this staircase.

Because the double doors were the showpiece of the courtyard entry, the homeowners chose a different latch and lock for their side yard gate. They chose the Nero Contemporary Lever Latch and Square Modern Style Deadbolt in black.
This photo shows the interior of the gate, latching against a fence panel.

This Loft was tastefully renovated back in the '90s, but was due for an update and an expansion of the kitchen and dining areas to accommodate the client's cooking skills and entertaining needs. EnlargIing the island and adding cabinetry to delineate the office, bar and dining areas was a priority. The bathroom was updated to feel like a tranquil spa with beautiful new tile, plumbing fixtures and cabinets. Our biggest challenge was coordinating the entire renovation while our client was out of town for the Summer!
