“Gardens and chocolate both have mystical qualities.” said Edward Flaherty, author of landscape stories. We couldn’t agree more! And while this garden photo isn’t of one of our own projects, Deck and Patio designs gardens with the same variations in color and texture, as well as slope gradations whenever possible. The result is a relaxing and healing place for young and old alike. www.deckandpatio.com

This bathroom remodel was designed to feel bright and refreshing, featuring a wood acorn finish vanity with a sleek white quartz countertop and elegant brass fixtures that add warmth and contrast. The shower showcases striking green ceramic mosaic tile, paired with a Carrara marble mosaic flooring inside the shower for added texture and visual interest, while white Calacatta Oro porcelain tiles define the main bathroom floor for a clean, seamless finish. A glass skylight above fills the space with natural light, and the glass shower enclosure keeps the layout open and airy, creating a calm and polished everyday retreat. Example of a mid-sized transitional bathroom design in Chicago

This remote project for a San Diego client focused on natural materials to create a soothing, grounded atmosphere. The natural light and light tones for the floor brighten everything up, while the brick and natural fibers add warmth and texture.

These impressive double curved staircases create a grand entrance worthy of this exquisite custom home. Black-painted oak treads and handrail, which match the upstairs hardwood flooring, are paired with crisp white risers, establishing a bold foundation for the design, while a custom wrought-iron balustrade brings Old World craftsmanship to the space. Rounded bullnose starting steps on each staircase provide an elegant invitation to ascend, softening the grand scale with graceful curves. Rising symmetrically on either side of the foyer, these staircases transform the entrance into an architectural statement that sets the tone for the entire residence. 1976-2026 © Century Stair Company

Inspiration for a transitional home design remodel in Atlanta

We were honoured to work alongside Anishinaabe artist, sculptor and restoration mason Solomon King of Stone Artisans Studios on an amazing restoration project and creation of an outdoor Indigenous healing space surrounding a Korean War monument in Wiarton, Ontario. He has created some incredible works of art and has many amazing projects in the near future, like a giant stone turtle sculpture being installed at Torontos City Hall to commemorate residential school survivors. He is a huge inspiration to us, and we hope to work with him again in the future! https://www.stoneartisanstudios.com/ https://toronto.citynews.ca/2023/09/25/new-indigenous-spirit-garden-taking-shape-at-nathan-phillips-square/
