Light hardwood floors flow from room to room on the first level. Oil-rubbed bronze light fixtures add a sense of eclectic elegance to the farmhouse setting. Horizontal stair railings give a modern touch to the farmhouse nostalgia. Stained wooden beams contrast beautifully with the crisp white tongue and groove ceiling. A barn door conceals a private, well-lit office or homework nook with bespoke shelving.

Open-riser floating walnut wood stair treads cantilevered from a black steel stringer rise against a white wall anchored by a custom full-height geometric laser-cut birch plywood panel. Glass stair railing with black steel balustrade and handrail. Inspiration for a contemporary wooden u-shaped staircase remodel in Los Angeles with wooden risers

The client wanted a unique railing design, they liked our organic work but wanted something a little more contemporary. The "tree" design is all forged and fabricated from flat bar and the horizontal rails are round stock. We used our cap rail which we forge in house.
