This sleek and modern kitchen designed by Curtis Lumber Co., Inc. features cabinets from Crystal Cabinet Works that the homeowners wanted to match the existing mahogany windows. The cabinets are from the Crystal Encore line, Springfield Door Style, Mahogany Wood with Natural Finish. Goals of this remodel included relocating the sink and dishwasher for better workflow, adding a pantry, pull-out storage solutions as well as a pullout trash/recycling center. For this swimming pool renovation in Long Grove, Il we started by building a new pool structure inside an existing steel walled, concrete bottomed pool. We then added a new hot tub with its own dedicated, separate equipment. Both pool and spa received Hartstone coping and Jewelscapes glass bead interior. The pool has a full-end sun shelf in the deep end of the pool and full-end steps in the shallow end. The pool is also equipped with a new automatic cover. The Hot Tub equipment is located in the basement, which provides for year-round operation. Both the pool and the hot tub are controlled by a Pentair Intellitouch system with iPhone interface compatibility.

The completed spa wall. The top edges are finished with a radius detail that intersects in a compound radius outside corner. Individual tiles were carefully matched and hand-cut at the transition from the vertical radius corner to the mitered cove corner at the floor.

Custom patchwork cowhide rug made in natural hides, especially for Jeannie. She came with an idea and sketch for a custom rug for her vacation home in Aspen, CO. Once the final design was decided, we selected may hides that would look very similar between one another and cut every patch by hand. This is the result of a very custom, handcrafted, special job! :)
