A key decision was selecting cabinetry that could reflect the richness of the original bamboo. This led to a custom walnut finish that felt authentic to the home yet elevated in its execution. Eclectic materials were thoughtfully layered to create interest and personality, but carefully balanced so the space felt curated, cohesive, and enduring. The updated design includes slate flooring, Plato Cabinetry in a custom walnut finish, and 3 cm soapstone countertops that add depth and natural character. High-performance Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances—including a Sub-Zero refrigerator and beverage center, along with a Wolf speed oven and hood—bring modern functionality to this artfully composed space.

Base cabinets and tall pantries from the Aran Cucine Erika collection with a white glossy finish and c-channel handle. Wall cabinets from the Bijou collection in Grigio Tundra matte glass. Quartz countertop and backsplash by Silestone in White Zeus, fabricated and installed by Bay Stoneworks. Appliances include a large double-sided refrigerator by Thermador, oven and speed oven by Miele, range hood by Zypher, dishwasher by Bosch, and gas cooktop by Wolf.

The 52 inch Titan is an industrial style large ceiling fan. The Titan II is damp rated for indoor or outdoor use. This huge ceiling fan features a quiet and efficient 6-speed DC motor. The extruded aluminum non warp blades are a perfect compliment to the Titan motor. Also included is a full function remote control. A special Decora style In Wall Remote is also available. We are pleased to offer this popular fan in Pure White, Brushed Nickel, and Oil Rubbed Bronze. Blades and motor colors can be mixed for a unique look.

Dimplex DF3033ST is a 33" plug-in electric firebox a with wide screen and thermostat controlled fan-forced heat. With Dimplex's patented electric flame technology, the pulsating embers with hand finished logs molded from real wood logs offer incredible realism. Includes on/off flame control and separate controls for flame speed, interior brightness, and heater.

The new speed oven and wall oven were moved conveniently to the other side of the bar, giving more room for the refrigerator, and a large induction cooktop. The kitchen now had the practicality it was missing. Other features include the natural stone tile floor in a pin wheel design, the large island for seating and storage and all topped by peacock green granite. The homeowners provided a reception at the completion of the project which was much appreciated by all of the contractors working on the job!
