Built in 1904, The Chatsworth was reintroduced in 2015 with expanded floor plans, incredible amenities and a private club-like atmosphere. transFORM’s Senior Design Manager Rozalia Kiss, worked with the HFZ Capital Group to create a striking bedroom sized walk-in closet, which was recently featured in the New York Times article : Closets as Big as Some Apartments. The article identifies spacious closets as the latest must-have in some of the city’s most expensive condominiums. Quickly becoming an essential part of the modern home, a walk-in closet adds style and convenience to your daily routine. Designed in a clean white finish and tastefully accented with complementing polished chrome hardware, this custom walk-in closet delivers tons of functional and accessible space. All-white cabinetry offers a crisp look that allows your clothing to steal the spotlight. The high-contrast shaker style doors, create an elegant backdrop for your clothing. For the shoe enthusiast, we included numerous sets of shoe shelves and cubbies that attractively organize and showcase your finest footwear. This type of system allows you to identify and grab your favorite pair as you mix and match the perfect ensemble. Shelving provides many of the same storage functions as drawers or baskets, but at a more economical price point. Items on open shelves are easier to recognize as a match for an outfit than items inside drawers. Living in Florida was wonderful but our clients missed seeing their daughter and her family. They missed spending time with their adorable grandchildren. With almost four acres of land to work with, they decided to bring the two families together. We encountered a few difficulties when working on this project. Using a saw-tooth design, we were able to get the space we needed and stay within the building restriction lines. With the tough winter weather, we encountered a few delays but had to meet the target date as our clients were moving up from the south and needed their new home to be move-in ready. Making selections in person can be tough and most of their selections were made from five state's away. Topped with CertainTeed Shingles, this two-story brick and Hardie Plank addition is trimmed with dental moulding and blends seamlessly with the existing home. BF Rich windows and slider allow ample light. An Azek composite deck with stairs offers easy access to the backyard and the pool area. The open kitchen and family room are the heart of this home. Armstrong laminate in white wash walnut unifies the rooms. In the kitchen, gorgeous Norcraft Copenhagen Maple cabinetry, stylish granite countertops, and the Bellavinita Tile backsplash are stunning. In the family room, two 30" wide niches were custom built on either side of the gas fireplace for pictures, knick-knacks, and plants. They add charm and distinction. The master bath and powder room both have Norcraft vanities topped with granite and under-mount sinks. The master bath is adorned with American Olean tile and a strip of Marazzi Crystal Stone offsets. The niche, grab bar and corner seat all add convenience. Moen and Kohler products were used throughout the remodel. The suite offers many storage options - from the walk-in bedroom closet, cabinetry, attic and basement. Everything came together beautifully. The quality of construction is exemplary and the addition is amazing. We stayed within their budget and significantly increased the value of this property. Our clients are thrilled with their beautiful new in-law suite and very happy to be near their family once again.

Both the design and construction teams put their heart into making sure we worked with the client to achieve this gorgeous vision. The client was sensitive to both aesthetic and functionality goals, so we set out to improve their old, dated cramped kitchen, with an open concept that facilitates cooking workflow, and dazzles the eye with its mid century modern design. One of their biggest items was their need for increased storage space. We certainly achieved that with ample cabinet space and doubling their pantry space. The 13 foot waterfall island is the centerpiece, which is heavily utilized for cooking, eating, playing board games and hanging out. The pantry behind the walnut doors used to be the fridge space, and there's an extra pantry now to the left of the current fridge. We moved the sink from the counter to the island, which really helped workflow (we created triangle between cooktop, sink and fridge/pantry 2). To make the cabinets flow linearly at the top we moved and replaced the window. The beige paint is called alpaca from Sherwin Williams and the blue is charcoal blue from sw. Everything was carefully selected, from the horizontal grain on the walnut cabinets, to the subtly veined white quartz from Arizona tile, to the black glass paneled luxury hood from Futuro Futuro. The pendants and chandelier are from West Elm. The flooring is from karastan; a gorgeous engineered, white oak in herringbone pattern. The recessed lights are decorative from Lumens. The pulls are antique brass from plank hardware (in London). We sourced the door handles and cooktop (Empava) from Houzz. The faucet is Rohl and the sink is Bianco.
