They loved the feel, but knew it needed a major overhaul. Being incredibly busy and having never taken on a renovation of this scale, they knew they needed help to make this space their own. This area was for music listening and relaxing. Our client was a true audiophile and wanted to immerse himself into a theater environment while keeping the aesthetic of the rest of the space. Our approach was to build an incredible foundation for a dedicated theater using some the world's best speakers and amplifiers; then compliment the home with acoustically treated pictures and audio panels. The outcome was placing audio exactly where is should be for the listener with no reflective sound where it shouldn't be. The experience was incredibly accurate and produced one of the best systems we have heard to date.

The open-plan second floor now provides efficient gallery space for a portion of the owners' contemporary art collection. Bubble lights – the Gregg Pendant, designed by Ludovica +Roberto Palomba for Foscarini – provide even lighting throughout this tall, narrow space.

The renovation of this classic Muskoka cottage, focused around re-designing the living space to make the most of the incredible lake views. This update completely changed the flow of space, aligning the living areas with a more modern & luxurious living context. In collaboration with the client, we envisioned a home in which clean lines, neutral tones, a variety of textures and patterns, and small yet luxurious details created a fresh, engaging space while seamlessly blending into the natural environment. The main floor of this home was completely gutted to reveal the true beauty of the space. Main floor walls were re-engineered with custom windows to expand the client’s majestic view of the lake. The dining area was highlighted with features including ceilings finished with Shadowline MDF, and enhanced with a custom coffered ceiling bringing dimension to the space. Unobtrusive details and contrasting textures add richness and intrigue to the space, creating an energizing yet soothing interior with tactile depth.

Accoya was used for all the superior decking and facades throughout the ‘Jungle House’ on Guarujá Beach. Accoya wood was also used for some of the interior paneling and room furniture as well as for unique MUXARABI joineries. This is a special type of joinery used by architects to enhance the aestetic design of a project as the joinery acts as a light filter providing varying projections of light throughout the day. The architect chose not to apply any colour, leaving Accoya in its natural grey state therefore complimenting the beautiful surroundings of the project. Accoya was also chosen due to its incredible durability to withstand Brazil’s intense heat and humidity. Our RHS Show Gardens can be seen here. At the 2008 Tatton Park Show we received a Bronze Medal for “Suspended Thoughts”. A year later we received a coverted RHS Gold Medal for our garden “A Place For Waste”. The garden used waste products and recycled materials to create a unique sustainable garden that received much interest from the television and media. We returned to the show in 2011 creating a minimalist garden built using sustainable materials sourced locally, adding a Silver Gilt Medal to our growing list of awards.
