Two Sisters. Two Homes. Two Distinct Visions. We designed two full gut renovations for two sisters, creating vacation homes that uniquely reflect their individual lifestyles and personal style. From architectural details and custom millwork to kitchens, baths, furnishings, lighting, and finishes, every detail was thoughtfully curated from the ground up. While they traveled the world, we seamlessly managed the entire process, allowing them to return home to a beautifully transformed sanctuary designed just for them.

Design oriented individuals, the clients had always wanted to design their own home and they took full advantage of that opportunity. A jewel box design, the solution is engineered entirely to fit their aesthetic for living. Worked tightly to budget, the client was closely involved in every step of the process ensuring that the value was delivered where they wanted it.

As the couple travels frequently, we added some homey comforts, like a deep shag rug in their bedroom. Individual channel-tufted panels of ivory vegan leather on the master bedroom’s headboard wall, bring a sophisticated feature to this room’s design. The custom Vanguard bed incorporates upholstered side rails made of the same vegan leather.

To allow the closet and bathroom some privacy without feeling cut off, custom doors with bamboo infused 3M panels of acrylic were used for texture, interest and light transference. This product is safer and lighter to use in residential and bathroom settings. The custom niches with individual down lights were created to allow the owner to display favorite finds on world travels.

I just got photos back from a Master Bedroom I remodeled for some wonderful Clients... From my first walk through with my client -to creative design and conceptualization - and finally to completion... I lived and breathed this project. I collected and combined found objects, ordered cabinet pulls from Morroco, hired artisans and craftspeople to hand paint and customize the furnishings, lamp shades, bedding, pillows and windowcoverings in order to create this warm, inviting and intimate space. When I travel, I am always thinking of my clients and projects....I love to purchase items and found objects that help to create unique and highly personalized spaces. I work with a team of incredibly talented individuals that can modify and customize almost everything I can dream up! A key element of cottage-style living is individuality. Each home is unique, inside and out. Focused on expanding the homeowner’s choices, the Plumrose takes individuality all the way to the number and design of the rooms. The second “bedroom” upstairs offers one such opportunity to customize the home to fit life’s needs. Make it a spacious, quiet master retreat and master bath, or a bright and cheery child’s bedroom and playroom, or a guest bedroom and office – the possibilities are endless and the decision is yours.
