This pool and spa is built in an affluent neighborhood with many new homes that are traditional in design but have modern, clean details. Similar to the homes, this pool takes a traditional pool and gives it a clean, modern twist. The site proved to be perfect for a long lap pool that the client desired with plenty of room for a separate spa. The two bodies of water, though separate, are visually linked together by a custom limestone raised water feature wall with 10 custom Bobe water scuppers. Quality workmanship as required throughout the entire build to ensure the automatic pool cover would remain square the entire 50 foot length of the pool. Features of this pool and environment that enhance the aesthetic appeal of this project include: -Glass waterline tile -Glass seat and bench tile -Glass tile swim lane marking on pool floor -Custom limestone coping and deck -PebbleTec pool finish -Synthetic Turf Lawn This outdoor environment cohesively brings the clean & modern finishes of the home seamlessly to the outdoors to a pool and spa for play, exercise and relaxation. This Boerum Hill, Brooklyn backyard features an ipe deck, knotty cedar fencing, artificial turf, a cedar pergola with corrugated metal roof, stepping stones, and loose Mexican beach stones. The contemporary outdoor furniture is from Restoration Hardware. Plantings are a lush mix of grasses, cherry trees, bamboo, roses, trumpet vines, variegated irises, hydrangeas, and sky pencil hollies.

Mid-century modern white one-story flat roof idea

This nearly 3,000 square foot mid-century modern home captures the essence of Palm Springs indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Desert landscaping juxtaposing greys and reds complement and accentuate the pool, spa and large outdoor fire pit. Arizona Fisheye 1/8" pebble, though becoming more popular in desert areas, is a rarer stone choice and was a special order for this project. Just inside behind full-length windows, a stylish fireplace filled with Irish Green reflective fire glass sets the tone for quintessential Palm Springs luxury.

Commissioned by a leading corporate executive who maintains offices in most of the 50 states, our Signature Design Team was under intense pressure. The client's request: "fill this room with tropical goodness". Our Signature Artists explored every option imaginable. This aquatic experience begins with an extended, gentle decline beach entry. a romantic sitting area for two, a powerful swim-jet, concealed, underwater fiber-optic lighting, and a convenient in-floor cleaning system. And the finishing touch, a fourteen-foot sheer waterfall originating from a mountain of fractured, granite slabs. The conclusion: a private, indoor beach resort. Not convinced? Notice the panoramic sunset mural just to the right of the waterfall. That scene was custom requested and order by the client who wanted to replicate his favorite vacation destination.

A recent birthday gift from Raymond, Jennifer found the tufted leather sofa on Etsy and drove 10 hours across Pennsylvania to pick it up.
