Bolzan Letti was founded in the 90s by the family Bolzan and, despite maintaining its craft character and dimension, by the year 2000 the company had already developed into an industrial enterprise, integrating the craftsmanship know-how with a modern mechanization. The key word of Bolzan’s identity is “Made in Italy”. What sets Bolzan Letti apart in terms of production is the capability of combining tradition and technology. Our products are craft-finished up to the apparently insignificant details, using the technological solutions offered by industry, in order to guarantee the highest quality, strictly and genuinely made in Italy: that means good-looking, comfortable and long-lasting furniture.

Rivetti Company offers expert custom deck and siding services. While adhering to industry quality standards, we work diligently to meet the needs of our customers. Our staff is committed to performing fine craftsmanship with cost efficiency and exceptional attention to detail. San Diego-born Gianni Rivetti founded his company with the vision of continuing a family tradition passed down from his grandfather to his own father, a master woodworker. During his adolescence, Gianni developed a passion for carpentry learning alongside his father. He was then hired at 18 by a design build company and began honing both his rough and finish carpentry skills. Rivetti went on to gain over a decade of experience through his collaboration with the finest construction companies in Coastal California from Malibu, Santa Barbara, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and San Diego. Throughout his partnerships with the leading craftsmen in the industry, he cultivated a strong command of various tasks ranging from framing luxury homes to installing crown molding. Since then, Rivetti has acquired a specialized knowledge of custom decks, finish carpentry, siding, and general maintenance services. His background in executing projects from the ground up to their completion inspired the creation of Rivetti Company. Rivetti has now settled in San Diego to raise his son, Joseph, and pursue his craft.

The Beerline Neighborhood: Bluff Homes, River Homes, Milwaukee Rowing Club, Booth Street Stairs Milwaukee, Wisconsin The Beerline is a former industrial corridor located along the Milwaukee River. Vetter’s urban design strategy was to create a modern, traditional neighborhood centered around three distinct yet connected levels of scale – civic, pedestrian and personal. The Beerline River Homes provide a walkable connection to the city, the beautiful Milwaukee River, and the surrounding environs. The diversity of these custom homes is evident not only in the unique association of the units to the specific edges each one addresses, but also in the diverse range of pricing from the accessible to the high-end. In an effort to integrate the typical urban neighborhood with the context of an industrial corridor, we relied upon thoughtful connections to materials such as brick, stucco, and fine woods, thus creating a feeling of refined elegance in balance with the sculpture of the historic warehouses across the Milwaukee River. The client purchased a historic carriage house which needed to be completely gutted and rebuilt. Our goal was to direct the client how to best position the kitchen into an open floor plan without overwhelming the adjacent spaces. We created a glass and steel separation wall that helped delineate the space between the kitchen and other public areas such as the dining and living areas. The screen wall provided a visual transition and acoustical privacy from the living area as well. The design & selections resulted in an open carriage house reinforced with industrial steel accents mixed with the modern elegance of painted cabinetry anchored by a walnut furniture island. The container as a contemporary solution - FERIZI + FERIZI Architects

German Embassy in Pristina - Kosovo, contracted the architecture office “Ferizi + Ferizi Architects” to plan and implement an Annex Office building for their purposes. As detached part of this building is designed the waiting area, as alone standing structure. This Office Building is constructed by assembling of Eight used office containers that were delivered on trucks and set up after only a few hours on the basis of the LEGO principle, according to the planning on strip foundations. By removing the flexible exterior wall panels, a large room of 115 m² was created, with the counter wall as a room partition between two office spaces, each with seven workstations as well as three counters for agents on one side and a room for visitors on the other side. With this system, room solutions can be easily implemented in all dimensions. The container, seen as a geometric shape, is a simple, octagonal, solid box. The standardized perfection of its dimensions is striking: 2.44 meters wide, 2.59 meters high and 6.06 meters or 12.19 meters long. Since its introduction in 1956 by the American transport entrepreneur Malcom McLean, the container has become a standardized transport module worldwide, whether on ships, trucks or construction sites. The shipping containers have additionally revolutionized the transport industry, pushed the globalization noticeably, and thus directly or indirectly influenced all our lives. But after only a few years, when the first overseas containers wore out, many engineers recognized the positive properties of used shipping containers for building houses, especially since they are robust, flexible, multifunctional and second-hand relatively inexpensive to purchase. The time has long passed by to treat containers exclusively as transport objects. As a "measure of all things", containers can hardly be ignored in construction. Their use is no longer limited to temporary use since school containers, information containers, office containers or entire residential buildings are now part of our everyday life in the construction industry. However, current examples of the container architecture prove that even the most demanding solutions for container building are feasible. For their specific aesthetic and spatial qualities, containers also serve as design parameters for the development of new forms of architecture and urbanity. The office building as an extension of the visa section, characterized by modern materials and contemporary aesthetics has been designed and built mainly as a low-energy building. Extensive insulation to achieve a comfortable and sustainable constant temperature in the interior, high window quality and low energy consumption make the building energy-efficient. The sophisticated lighting technology, networks, heating systems and air-conditioning systems are also components of this equipment. It creates an overall harmonic picture and guarantees the highest standard in sustainable construction, taking into consideration the fact that environmentally friendly recycling and reutilization have become an increasingly important issue in our society. West and East side of the wooden facade is compact and has few openings, while the southern facade is completely open with lot of glass. Its spatial openness ensures a transparent, friendly work environment, which allows a lot of light into the space. This openness allows an uninterrupted, pleasant and close-to-nature view from interior spaces into the beautiful garden. During the installation of sophisticated light sources in the garden, emphasis was not only put on functionality and security, but also on the beauty of the garden shown through the illumination in the evening. Large, horizontal white “brisole” serve as external sun protection systems, mounted on the canopies of the entrance areas of the modular construction and the enclosure, adeptly cast shade on these areas and at the same time shape the entire architectural language. While on one hand, the two quadratic ledges suspended in the air, are docked with steel stairs and match the wooden façade, lead the staff to their office space, the artful modern interior, on the other hand, perfectly unites the functionality, innovative technology, culture and positive effects on the employees' efficiency and wellbeing. A lot of white, interjected by warm wooden and colored accents, determines the ambience. In the case of the lighting solution, the mainly linear ceiling lighting is used as the overlapping design element both for the offices of the visa section as well as for the counters and the waiting area for the visitors. They underline the puristic design in order to create a pleasant light for a desired general illumination and ensure optimal light conditions without causing disturbing reflections on the computer screens. In addition, precisely positioned pendant luminaires are installed at the workstations, which ensure pleasant room brightness. In the entrance area, the harmonic and uniform lighting effect from the ground highlights the integration of photography and architecture. Photographs of landscapes, people, places, expressing unforgettable, impressive moments and memories have been lovingly engraved on 8 x 8cm square oak blocks. The idea of an effective, impressive environment that stimulates and inspires the work was the premiss on which the whole design concept was based. Consequently, the modular construction was no longer viewed through its history of utilization and scars, but rather as a structure of work ambiance, art and elegance. Wake Forest NC Healthy Home and Whole House Renovation

Keith and Amy loved their home in quiet Wake Forest neighborhood on a large corner lot on a cul-de-sac. Over time, Amy had developed allergic reactions to unknown allergens in their home. As her condition worsened, it became impossible for her to spend much time in the home, and they were forced to move out and find temporary housing accommodations. After months of talking with other home improvement providers and indoor air “experts” and trying other solutions to no avail including having their HVAC ducting cleaned, they turned to Paradise Found Construction and our expertise and experience in transforming indoor environments in homes into healthy and clean living spaces. Because many of the improvements we undertook to create a cleaner environment also provided energy savings, we had our work certified under the 2012 National Green Building Standards (NGBS) and were award a Bronze level certification for the home. We conducted a thorough investigation and testing regimen that included bringing in our team industry leading air quality and HVAC experts, we developed a comprehensive plan of action that would solve their “sick home syndrome”. We removed all of the carpeting and pad from the home and thoroughly cleaned all surfaces and filtered the air with advanced HEPA filtration units. There were a few areas of mold in the crawl space which we mitigated as well. We thoroughly air sealed the home, paying particular attention to the ground level and attic floor system. Since the HVAC systems and ducting had become re-contaminated, we cleaned both units and all associated duct work. To eliminate unhealthy air being drawn into the home from the crawl space, we completely sealed and conditioned the crawl. In order to provide a controlled entry point for clean fresh air into the home we installed an energy efficient stand-alone Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV). We installed wood flooring in all of the living areas that did not have wood flooring, and finished all of the flooring using a NO-VOC water-based floor finish. All of the painted surfaces of the home were sealed and painted with NO-VOC latex paint. To further improve the energy performance of the home in addition to thoroughly air-sealing and sealing and conditioning the crawl space, we installed 100% LED lighting in the home. We improved the water efficiency of the home by installing low-flow EPA WaterSense rated toilets and shower heads, converted all of the bathroom and kitchen faucets to be more water efficient. Upon completion, Amy and her family was able to move back into their cozy and clean “new home”, and are once again able to enjoy and be comfortable in their home.
