A taupe-based color with darker undertones, Monterey Taupe offers a sophisticated and striking neutral. This color works well paired with its softer cousin, Cobble Stone. On this project Smardbuild install 6'' exp. cedarmill lap siding with Hardie trim - smooth finish with Arctic White color. Garage gable finished with Hardie Straight Edge Shingle siding. Windows headers finished with Hardie 5.5'' Hardie Crown Moulding. House have existing soffit, fascia, gutters and gables vents.

After living with the original 1980s landscaping for a few years after purchasing their home, these homeowners were ready for an update. We preserved mature plantings where possible, but integrated new material to better suit the homeowners' style and the Northwest setting.

This Denver Area home in Parker had failing composite wood siding. The homeowner elected to update the style and look of the siding by installing alternating exposures lap siding, a beautiful contemporary design. We used James Hardie HardiePlank fiber cement siding and trim, and painted with Sherwin-Williams Duration paint. The results were stunning and the homeowner was thrilled. Wouldn't it be great to love where you live, and get excited every time you pulled up to your house?
