Walking into this wine cellar holding 1900 bottles initially takes your breath away. The racking was made out of a clear-coated All Heart Redwood. The different elevations of the floor to ceiling racking as well as the different bottle display angels keeps your attention while gazing around the room. The back arched area is the main focal point of the room, while standing outside the cellar. However, once inside the cellar, the colorful stained glass instantly captures your attention (designed by Designer Glass Mosaic). Two glass cabinets were designed to store a large number of stemware and other glass accouterments. The custom ladder was built to provide access to the hard to reach special wines. Sliding case storage shelves gives the homeowner space to store the special wood wine cases. The two doors were custom built out of All Heart Redwood and the tabletop was made out of infused wine barrel wood.

We’re so thrilled to share the after photos of a recent kitchen renovation in Rensselaerville. The owners were looking to breathe new life into the space and wanted to focus un updating the kitchen and maximizing storage. Project Manager, Tony Cicchino, and Designer, Sarah McDonald, rounded the team together and got to work. The team kicked off by saying goodbye to dated paneling and a drop ceiling. The result? An open and refreshed vibe that instantly transformed the entire atmosphere. Thanks to the brilliance of Sarah, we revamped the layout to optimize storage and enhance accessibility to the peninsula cabinets. Built-in storage options ensure every inch of space is utilized efficiently. New windows were installed, welcoming natural light to illuminate every corner. The choice of cherry cabinets brought a touch of timeless elegance to the kitchen. The rich, warm tones add a luxurious feel amplified by the artisanal, handmade tiles used for the backsplash. We can’t wait to see what our clients will let us get our hands on next!

This client wanted to refresh their kitchen while keeping the existing layout and countertops they still loved. Since the cabinetry was in great structural shape, cabinet refacing was the perfect solution to give the space a fresh, updated look without a full remodel.
We refaced the cabinets in a bright satin white finish, instantly transforming the kitchen and creating a cleaner, more modern feel. To improve both storage and functionality, we also added doors to the existing open pantry for a more finished appearance and installed roll-out trays in several cabinets for easier access and organization.
The new satin white cabinetry completely brought new life to the space, and the homeowners are thrilled with the final result.

Sometimes it take a few tries to get a space to work how you want it to and that’s exactly what happened with this Hinsdale client. Their desire for a family friendly, open floor plan had them reworking an opening between the kitchen and family room and relocating some pantry cabinets in an attempt to make their home’s flow more suitable to their lifestyle. After living with this small change for a few years, they decided that a full kitchen remodel was really what was needed to make their home function the way they desired.
They came in with the stereotypical “sketch on a napkin” done by an architect friend, and we proceeded to make that design come to life with a few tweaks along the way. The space was quite unique and also a bit challenging because of its multiple angled walls. While interesting, angles can be a challenge when trying make a space functional.
The new kitchen has a great lineup of large appliances, including a large built-in fridge, steam oven and Galley workstation, which is a large prep sink that utilizes several inserts such as strainers and cutting boards and acts as a very large prep space. The new induction cooktop is easy to keep clean and a microwave drawer in the island is located away from the main prep space for convenient access.
The main perimeter has tons of countertop space, with additional prep space available at the island and a slightly raised peninsula for casual meals and nice homework spot for the couple’s teenaged children. The kitchen also included a large shallow depth pantry and a large counter height desk area for keeping track of paperwork.
The weathered finish on the cabinets and custom metal hood are a nice juxtaposition to the more sleek glass mosaic backsplash and waterfall countertops. The pendants and cabinet hardware provide modern details that provide an overall casual yet sophisticated feel in this transitional design.

When you look at this fountain, your eye will be naturally drawn to the movement of the water over the exquisite green marble stone to the awaiting polished cream white river rocks. Rainforest marble is not technically a marble; it's a serpentinite, which is rock composed predominantly of one or more serpentine minerals and is known for its healing qualities. Due to its elegant, smooth appearance similar to marble, it is often referred to as marble. The name "Rainforest" comes from the distinctive veining that looks like tree branches or a "rainforest jungle". This particular marble is very strong and characteristics in veining and movement will tend to vary greatly between stones. Rainforest green marble all comes from the same quarry in Rajasthan, India. Rainforest green is a very unique extravagant looking marble consisting of rich, earthy green tones, and deep brown veining.

Sip into Style: Maple Latte Remodel
Kitchens are often the centerpiece of our homes, a place where culinary creativity meets family gatherings. Yet, many kitchens fall victim to outdated designs and worn-out finishes. If you’re feeling uninspired by your current space, it’s time to consider a remodel that can elevate your kitchen from drab to fab.
Let’s explore how we transformed this client’s kitchen into a posh, stylish retreat that featured a combination of stunning materials and thoughtful design choices that truly elevated the space.
Creating an Open Concept
One of the most significant changes anyone can make in a home remodel is to modify or remove walls. Even though there were two points of entry into this client’s kitchen, the space was closed off. Opening up the wall instantly created a more open and inviting layout that allowed for the installation of a large island. Eliminating the barrier between the kitchen and the adjacent living area, provides a seamless flow that is perfect for entertaining guests or simply keeping an eye on the kids while cooking dinner.
A Showstopping Island
At the heart of this kitchen remodel is an expansive 9 ft. island, designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The island features a stunning White Pearl natural quartzite countertop that radiates elegance. With its unique veining and shimmering finish, this stone serves as a beautiful focal point and adds a touch of luxury to the space. A beverage cooler and dishwasher are tucked underneath, concealed from the view of the living area. Three 12” deep and 36” wide cabinets line the front of the island providing additional hidden storage. This multifunctional design makes the island an essential part of daily life in the kitchen, making it a cozy spot for casual dining or morning coffee.
Complementary Perimeter Countertops
To enhance the overall look, the perimeter countertops are topped with Silestone Eternal Charcoal. This material offers a striking contrast to the lighter island, featuring rich, dark hues that ground the space and create depth. The durability and easy maintenance of Silestone make it an ideal choice for busy kitchens, ensuring that the surfaces remain beautiful and functional for years to come.
Beautiful Cabinetry
The cabinetry in this remodel plays a pivotal role in both style and storage. We opted for Waypoint Cabinetry in a Maple Latte finish, which adds warmth and sophistication to the kitchen. The soft, neutral tones of the cabinetry complement the countertops beautifully and create a cohesive look throughout the space. The cabinets are thoughtfully designed to provide ample storage, with pull-out shelves and organizers that maximize accessibility.
Finishing Touches
No remodel is complete without the right finishing touches. We chose sleek, modern matte black Top Knobs hardware that enhances the cabinetry's clean lines while adding a touch of contemporary flair. The 2 ½” x 10” San Marcos Tortora stylish backsplash tile, a striking black hood with brushed gold accents and brushed gold large pendant lighting tie together the colors and textures of the room, adding visual interest.
The Result: A Dream Kitchen
The result of this kitchen remodel is nothing short of spectacular. The combination of the open layout, stunning island, and thoughtful materials creates a space that is both functional and beautiful.
Whether you’re considering a full kitchen remodel or simply looking for inspiration, this project highlights the transformative power of thoughtful design and quality materials. If you’re ready to create your dream kitchen, don’t hesitate to contact us so that we can help bring your vision to life. Happy remodeling!

With bright white walls as a jumping off point, accent colors of gray blue, blush and plum add in something for everyone. Cozy soft goods and bedding soften the space making it approachable and welcoming for the whole family to grow into and enjoy together for many years.

Full renovation of 1978 treehouse style coastal cottage. Opened up kitchen and eating space by removing wall, removing unusable storage area and recreating with laundry access, changed hot water tank to instant hot water heater, replaced all windows and sliding glass doors to impact resistant for hurricanes, replaced all plumbing fixtures, converted master bathroom to modern open shower, sanded and matched existing wood floors, new carpet, paint, light fixtures and furniture. Furniture included custom built swing bed in front bedroom and Southern swing on back porch with a shell-shucking bucket built into the center of the outdoor table.

The Arches Guest Bedroom was designed for a couple who loves mid-century modern design. This room, visible from their marigold yellow living room, functions as a workout and meditation space when they are not hosting guests. The flat weave rug allows for a yoga mat to easily be placed on top without any slipping. When guests are in town, the teal pull-out sofa, instantly transforms this space into a comfortable and luxurious bedroom for hosting. Instead of artwork for the walls, we borrowed from our Emmy Award winning composer clients collection of beautiful guitars as art for the space. A hanging mount allows him to easily access the guitars, when needed. Perforated metal lamps and Edison bulbs, give the room a moody and romantic feel, while allowing for the wallpaper design to be seen throughout.
