The owners of this 1958 mid-century modern home desired a refreshing new master bathroom that was open and bright. The previous bathroom felt dark and cramped, with dated fixtures. A new bathroom was designed, borrowing much needed space from the neighboring garage, and allowing for a larger shower, a generous vanity with integrated trough sink and a soaking tub.

We packed as much as we could into this small bathroom, loading it with all of the latest and greatest in bathroom technology. Outlets are hidden in the medicine cabinet and vanity, and the toilet features a bidet toilet seat with remote control. The tub features Kohler’s VibrAcoustic technology, which uses sound waves to relax your muscles. Maximizing the functionality of this space, and coordinating the new kitchen with the beautiful remodel completed previously by the client were the two most important aspects of this project. The existing spaces are elegantly decorated with an open plan, dark hardwood floors, and natural stone accents. The new, lighter, more open kitchen flows beautifully into the client’s existing dining room space. Satin nickel hardware blends with the stainless steel appliances and matches the satin nickel details throughout the home. The fully integrated refrigerator next to the narrow pull-out pantry cabinet, take up less visual weight than a traditional stainless steel appliance and the two combine to provide fantastic storage. The glass cabinet doors and decorative lighting beautifully highlight the client’s glassware and dishes. Technical specialties/characteristics : -Built on internal reinforced/waterproof structure. -Specific dimensions with absolute accuracy. -All cutting on the sink opening and miters by hand watercut for maximum accuracy and reducing of material loss in order to use the cut out for matching the flow on the two of the inner sides exactly . -Adjustment water cutting by hand absolutely necessary on side miters for perfection. -Use of appropriate glues and matching to have small tight miters everywhere.
