A home on top of a hill with amazing lake views provide the perfect setting for a beautiful "mountain mine" inspired pool with so many ways to interact with - this active family will never be bored! The antique ore cart and rail system seems to appear from an old mine and gives the homeowner a unique iced-beverage cart. The boulder steps lead up to another "mine" entrance that is actually the entrance to the underground slide.

This newly remodeled home was transformed top to bottom. It is, as all good art should be “A little something of the past and a little something of the future.” We kept the old world charm of the Tudor style, (a popular American theme harkening back to Great Britain in the 1500’s) and combined it with the modern amenities and design that many of us have come to love and appreciate. In the process, we created something truly unique and inspiring.

This tropical modern coastal Tiny Home is built on a trailer and is 8x24x14 feet. The blue exterior paint color is called cabana blue. The large circular window is quite the statement focal point for this how adding a ton of curb appeal. The round window is actually two round half-moon windows stuck together to form a circle. There is an indoor bar between the two windows to make the space more interactive and useful- important in a tiny home. There is also another interactive pass-through bar window on the deck leading to the kitchen making it essentially a wet bar. This window is mirrored with a second on the other side of the kitchen and the are actually repurposed french doors turned sideways. Even the front door is glass allowing for the maximum amount of light to brighten up this tiny home and make it feel spacious and open. This tiny home features a unique architectural design with curved ceiling beams and roofing, high vaulted ceilings, a tiled in shower with a skylight that points out over the tongue of the trailer saving space in the bathroom, and of course, the large bump-out circle window and awning window that provides dining spaces.

The present project, with its clear and simple forms, looks for the interaction with the rural environment and the contact with the surrounding buildings. The simplicity and architectural dialogue between form and function are the theme for inside and outside. Kitchen and dining area are facing each other. The isle leads to a made-to-measure corner bench that stretches under the wide windows along the entire length of the house and connects to the kitchen across the corner. Above the tall units with their integrated appliances, the window continues as a narrow band. The white high gloss acrylic surface of the kitchen fronts forms a decorative contrast to the wood of the floor and bench. White lacquered recessed handles provide a tranquil, two-dimensional effect.

This room was inspired by a trip that our lead-designer took to France. The space was to exude a combination of warmth and luxury with satins, velvets and silks. A modern bright color palette was fused with the existing 18th century architectural elements. Favorite treasures from all over the world found special spaces, where they became permanent occupants and overlook many interactions in the great room.

At the entrance of Milan there is this place of three rooms, which was completely re-designed transforming the day rooms into a single open space. The cooking zone was remodeled to be integrated with the living room and has a leading role in the space, where the only technologic element that stands out is the Mini OM hood by Elica which, just as any other decor complement, interacts with the surrounding space.
