A home on top of a hill with amazing lake views provide the perfect setting for a beautiful "mountain mine" inspired pool with multiple ways to interact with - this active family will never be bored! There is an antique ore cart and rail system that seems to appear from an old mine and gives the homeowner a unique iced-beverage cart. There are boulder steps that lead up to another "mine" entrance that is actually the entrance to the underground slide. This view shows the swim-through grotto and natural boulder waterfall with a 14' diving ledge. Hand cut native stone with boulders integrated into the stone retaining wall provides additional patio space with a fire pit above the pool.

Inspiration for a mid-sized country gender-neutral carpeted walk-in closet remodel in Nashville with glass-front cabinets and gray cabinets

The open plan of the great room, dining and kitchen, leads to a completely covered outdoor living area for year-round entertaining in the Pacific Northwest. By combining tried and true farmhouse style with sophisticated, creamy colors and textures inspired by the home's surroundings, the result is a welcoming, cohesive and intriguing living experience.

By removing the wall between the kitchen and living area, the family now has a open concept to gather and interact with guests. The double functioning doors lead to the clients existing patio allowing easy access to their outdoor entertaining space.

What began as a renovation project morphed into a new house, driven by the natural beauty of the site.
The new structures are perfectly aligned with the coastline, and take full advantage of the views of ocean, islands, and shoals. The location is within walking distance of town and its amenities, yet miles away in the privacy it affords. The house is nestled on a nicely wooded lot, giving the residence screening from the street, with an open meadow leading to the ocean on the rear of the lot.
The design concept was driven by the serenity of the site, enhanced by textures of trees, plantings, sand and shoreline. The newly constructed house sits quietly in a location advantageously positioned to take full advantage of natural light and solar orientations. The visual calm is enhanced by the natural material: stone, wood, and metal throughout the home.
The main structures are comprised of traditional New England forms, with modern connectors serving to unify the structures. Each building is equally suited for single floor living, if that future needs is ever necessary. Unique too is an underground connection between main house and an outbuilding.
With their flowing connections, no room is isolated or ignored; instead each reflects a different level of privacy and social interaction.
Just as there are layers to the exterior in beach, field, forest and oceans, the inside has a layered approach. Textures in wood, stone, and neutral colors combine with the warmth of linens, wools, and metals. Personality and character of the interiors and its furnishings are tailored to the client’s lifestyle. Rooms are arranged and organized in an intersection of public and private spaces. The quiet palette within reflects the nature outside, enhanced with artwork and accessories.

This unique design wastes not an inch of the trailer it's built on. The shower is constructed in such a way that it extends outward from the rest of the bathroom and is supported by the tongue of the trailer.

The present project, with its clear and simple forms, looks for the interaction with the rural environment and the contact with the surrounding buildings. The simplicity and architectural dialogue between form and function are the theme for inside and outside. Kitchen and dining area are facing each other. The isle leads to a made-to-measure corner bench that stretches under the wide windows along the entire length of the house and connects to the kitchen across the corner. Above the tall units with their integrated appliances, the window continues as a narrow band. The white high gloss acrylic surface of the kitchen fronts forms a decorative contrast to the wood of the floor and bench. White lacquered recessed handles provide a tranquil, two-dimensional effect.

This is the flex room where the client works, converts it to a guest room with the sofa bed and there is intentional empty space in the middle for excercise. I kept the color pallete blue and green in here with a suede leather blue wallpaper, it nearly looks like a plaster wall when touched and feels like interactive art. I chose a blue pure wool rug to marry it with the feature wallpaper. All softer furnishings have a slight shade of green. I wallpapered the foyer leading to the room in a woolen paper with a pale green shade of grey and tied that softness in the green in the drapery fabric.

A continuous line (Desk) creates the illusion of a bigger room and also guides the visitor to go thru the story created in the Interactive 3D panel.
Every day when the families walk into this room and sees first -hand the Design created for them it provides an experience that I believe be essential for the well being of these guests.
The idea that after a long day in the hospital they can come back to the Ronald McDonald House where volunteers and staff interact and generously provide a warm welcome environment that strength their souls in such a difficult time is priceless.
We worked with Brooke Lichtenstein and Yiannos Vrousgos who are also alumni from the New York School of Interior Design. Today they lead the Company Input Creative Studio which differs for its conceptualization and creativity behind each project.
While we were in the Design Process of this project me and my team had meetings to combine all the ideas together into one final IDEA. We decided to create a room that creates a affect of being embraced and secured.

A hallway leads from the kitchen to a bedroom and bathroom. Open shelving in wall cabinets, an open u-shaped kitchen counter, large windows, and an open floor plan, all reflect the personality of the owner, who loves to entertain and enjoys interacting with guests.

This room was inspired by a trip that our lead-designer took to France. The space was to exude a combination of warmth and luxury with satins, velvets and silks. A modern bright color palette was fused with the existing 18th century architectural elements. Favorite treasures from all over the world found special spaces, where they became permanent occupants and overlook many interactions in the great room.
