Hanging patio lights in the deck area provides natural hanging surface and adds amazing evening light to dining and entertaining spaces. A few of these larger bulbs can light up large areas. Here we used commercial patio lights with suspended drop sockets, popular in cafe and coffee shop use.

2 Bedrooms / 2,200 Square Feet This pied-à-terre loft with soaring fourteen foot ceilings, sits within a classic cast iron building in the heart of Noho, NYC. It is home to a couple who are serious about their art. DHD worked on this project from the onset of design and construction, allowing for a clear harmony between the architecture and design. The wide plank grey oak floors and white gallery walls set the palette for an art filled environment. A custom designed silk rug fills the main space, while the large-scale Lindsey Adelman light installation hangs above. The furniture, a mix of vintage and classic contemporary, were carefully curated to create a home that is elegant and subtle yet eclectic. The use of cowhide, mohair, woven leather and velvet create subtle textures against the painted brick and wood planked walls. This gorgeous wide plank antique Oak is our most requested floor! With dramatic widths ranging from 6 to 12 inches (14 inches in some cases), you can easily bring an old-world charm into your home. This product comes to you completely pre-finished and ready to install. We start by hand sanding the surface, beveling the edges ever so slightly, and being careful to preserve the historical integrity of the planks. Typically, about 80% of your flooring will be "Smooth" with the remaining 20% having a slight texture from the original saw kerfs. This material will also have nail holes, knots, and checks which only adds to the unique character. Next, we apply Waterlox, a tung oil based sealant with or without stain added. Finally, 3 coats of Vermont Polywhey finish are added with a hand buffing between coats. The result is a luxurious satiny finish that you can only get from Historic Flooring! This custom residence was designed and built by Collaborated works in 2012. Inspired by Maison de Verre by Pierre Chareau. This modernist glass box is full steel construction. The exterior is brought inside so that the frame of the house is exposed. Large frosted glass garage doors create a beautiful light box. This townhouse has an open floating stair that is the centerpiece of the home. A fireplace in the living room is surrounded by windows. The industrial kitchen incorporates vintage fixtures and appliances that make it truly unique.
