2 Bedrooms / 2,200 Square Feet This pied-à-terre loft with soaring fourteen foot ceilings, sits within a classic cast iron building in the heart of Noho, NYC. It is home to a couple who are serious about their art. DHD worked on this project from the onset of design and construction, allowing for a clear harmony between the architecture and design. The wide plank grey oak floors and white gallery walls set the palette for an art filled environment. A custom designed silk rug fills the main space, while the large-scale Lindsey Adelman light installation hangs above. The furniture, a mix of vintage and classic contemporary, were carefully curated to create a home that is elegant and subtle yet eclectic. The use of cowhide, mohair, woven leather and velvet create subtle textures against the painted brick and wood planked walls. A relatively new product from Ralph Lauren, this is Polished Patina in "Old Rock Crystal". It is a troweled finish that has a lovely pearlized effect and looks beautiful in any room.

STEP 1: Tape off area to ombre. With a level and pencil, draw a line where you want the colors to fade into each other. You will be creating wide, horizontal stripes. In this project, the Colorhouse colors used from lightest to darkest are: AIR .05, WATER .01, THRIVE .04, and DREAM .05.

This Denver Area home in Parker had failing composite wood siding. The homeowner elected to update the style and look of the siding by installing alternating exposures lap siding, a beautiful contemporary design. We used James Hardie HardiePlank fiber cement siding and trim, and painted with Sherwin-Williams Duration paint. The results were stunning and the homeowner was thrilled. Wouldn't it be great to love where you live, and get excited every time you pulled up to your house?
