Inspiration for a modern family room remodel in San Francisco

Hardiplank siding in varied widths is set up in vertical panels (with trim separations) to animate the façade along the South elevation. The siding is part of a rain- screen system as part of the sustainable design initiatives of the project. The rainscreen provides heightened moisture protection to the structure. THE METAL & GLASS SCULPTURE COLLECTION are three-dimensional contemporary works of art containing shapes and elements inspired by nature and fantasy. Each shape and linear element floats and flows in and out of space creating interactive movement and harmony between shape, line, material, negative space, and weight. The shape elements are cut from sheet and stainless steel then colorized with metal patinas bringing out deep, rich mottled colors including turquoise, deep green and bronze, or faux finished with acrylic paints and metal powders. The linear elements are steel & stainless steel rods, bent, finished, and welded into place. The composition is framed with 1” square steel tubing painted black.

This fun, funky basement space was renovated with both kids and adults in mind. A large sectional is the perfect place to watch the game and another game - at the same time! Thanks to two flat screen TVs, this family can please everyone in the room. A kids space for a ping pong table and drum set sits behind the TV viewing space and a wet bar for drinks and snacks serves everyone. Concrete floors were painted and rugs were used to warm up the space. Surround sound systems were installed into the ceiling and walls for a seamless look. This is the perfect space for entertaining guests of any age.
