Recently, we embarked on a design project to redesign the entry landscaping with the timeless beauty of a Japanese garden, emphasizing Tsukiyama earth mounding. This technique, which involves sculpting gentle, rolling hills to reflect natural landscapes, brought a new dimension of tranquility and depth to the space.
By integrating a minimalist planting aesthetic and organic, dissolving lines, we achieved a seamless fusion of serenity with modern sophistication. The transformed entryway now greets visitors with unfolding views that perfectly complements the home’s treehouse views into Nichols Arboretum.

Alstroemeria 'Princess Sara' is a drarf Peruvian Lily, lower mounding growth with stunning flowers that combine the colors of peach/orange/pink with striped yellow throat. Great for cutting, blooms almost continuously in warm weather. Shown with an Agave Variegata offering a striking combination. Front yard landscape remodel. We removed the existing sidewalk from the entry and installed a paver sidewalk to match the paver driveway. We extended it to the street between 2 pillars for a more grand entrance. The rock was removed and replaced with synthetic grass, mounding, and desert plants. The yard took on a completely new look and fit much nicer in this Chandler custom home neighborhood.

This is an example of a mid-sized rustic full sun front yard mulch landscaping in Denver.
