The expansive basement entertainment area features a tv room, a kitchenette and a custom bar for entertaining. The custom entertainment center and bar areas feature bright blue cabinets with white oak accents. Lucite and gold cabinet hardware adds a modern touch. The sitting area features a comfortable sectional sofa and geometric accent pillows that mimic the design of the kitchenette backsplash tile. The kitchenette features a beverage fridge, a sink, a dishwasher and an undercounter microwave drawer. The large island is a favorite hangout spot for the clients' teenage children and family friends. The convenient kitchenette is located on the basement level to prevent frequent trips upstairs to the main kitchen. The custom bar features lots of storage for bar ware, glass display cabinets and white oak display shelves. Locking liquor cabinets keep the alcohol out of reach for the younger generation.

Kitchen The kitchen is anchored as a gathering space with its blue-accented entertaining island. The island has plenty of seating for visiting with the cooks and for serving informal meals. The clean-up sink faces toward the east and the back deck and yard. To its right is a paneled dishwasher, and a built-in fridge that's readily accessible to the breakfast table (out of view here) and outdoor deck. This white on white kitchen design is transitional and incorporates beautiful clean lines. This kitchen features a latte colored Kitchen Island by Dura Supreme and a mix of light tan (latte) and orange décor. These colors really pop on the “white canvas” of this design. We designed and delivered a perfectly hidden kitchen laundry and, can you believe, it adds tremendous style to this new open space Moorestown, New Jersey kitchen?! Besides figuring out what to do with the washer and dryer, the client asked for a large table island, fun green accenting, and wood details. To truly understand the challenge we had with this project, please look at the befores first — a small space condo kitchen that had a stacked washer & dryer fully exposed. Solutions: knock out a wall to open things up to the dining room, and somehow enclose the washer and dryer. Besides now having a tremendously functional open space kitchen with an electic mix of modern and transitional that is ‘perfectly Theresa’, the laundry space now adds style. It’s amazing how the caning on the doors became a statement element! How fun! We truly managed to hide a washer & dryer in plain sight and add beauty!

To create the illusion of space in this 5' x 8' Eureopean-style bathroom, we continued the bold black and white mosaic Portugese floor tile into the shower, whose floor is just slightly recessed, and angled so water drains to the center. The rest of the bathroom is almost purely white and includes: - white floating vanity with modern water-saving chrome faucet - large white subway tile with mother of pearl accents including the mother of pearl-lined shampoo niche and vanity backsplash that goes all the way up to the ceiling which catches the light and adds a bit of bling. - Adjustable handheld shower - modern white dual flush toilet - floating shelves - Carrera marble countertop - deep, custom made medicine cabinet for extra storage - heated floor

Contemporary white high gloss Crystal cabinets with Cambria white cliff counter tops is striking. Adding black painted walls and large scale black tile floors make it even more dramatic. But with the addition of orange light fixtures and colorful artwork, the kitchen is over the top with energy. With no upper cabinets only floating shelves for display the base cabinets are well planned for each functional work zone. a. The “Cooking Zone” hosts the 60” range top (with hood) and is the heart of the kitchen. The ovens, coffee system and speed oven are located outside of this zone and use the island/snack bar as their landing space. b. The “Prep Zone” includes the refrigerator, freezer, sink, and dishwasher c. The “Entertainment Zones” has a separate sink and dishwasher, the wine cooler and beverage center. A desk off to the side of the kitchen with a large roll up tambour to keep any mess hidden. Also their robot vacuums have a charging station under the files drawers in the toe kick. We met these clients through a referral from a previous client. We renovated several rooms in their traditional-style farmhouse in Abington. The kitchen is farmhouse chic, with white cabinetry, black granite counters, Carrara marble subway tile backsplash, and a beverage center. The large island, with its white quartz counter, is multi-functional, with seating for five at the counter and a bench on the end with more seating, a microwave door, a prep sink and a large area for prep work, and loads of storage. The kitchen includes a large sitting area with a corner fireplace and wall mounted television. The multi-purpose mud room has custom built lockers for coats, shoes and bags, a built-in desk and shelving, and even space for kids to play! Thse clients came to me for a kitchen refresh. Keeping the existing floor plan but updating as much as possible. After explaining my thoughts, they chose to go with a much larger project. The wall to the garage wash pushed bach 12" to allow for the island to happen. This almost couldn't happen as there is a support post in the garage we had to keep. I designed the last pantry area as on 10" deep, allowing us to conceal that behind the cabinets. Then, we opend up the wall to the dining room to make the rooms one large space. The wall to the family room was also openend up, leaving the half wall to allow for the kitchen eating area. They wanted to incorporate a bar area, without it feeling like a "bar" The fabulous tall custom unit houses their wine collection and then half of the dining room buffet area holds glassware and other bar items. I helped the clients with all of the design choices.We all wanted to keep the space classic, war, functional and with mixed materials. I chose to use the same countertop material for the backsplash, to keep the space feeling as large as possible.
