This project explores two distinct expressions under one roof.
The client envisioned a clean, modern refresh for the hallway bathroom—simple, functional, and elevated with sleek finishes. In contrast, the basement bathroom was her chance to play.
Here, we leaned into a more classic vibe with bold personality and timeless charm. Each space reflects her vision: restrained sophistication above, confident character below.

Our Music Lounge is located on the second floor of a stunning 100+ year-old Tudor-style residence in Hartford, CT—part of the 2025 Junior League of Hartford Designer Show House. When designing the space, we set out to celebrate Connecticut-based female artists. The room began with two key elements: a leafy, organic grasscloth wallpaper by Goshen artist Sarah Von Dreele, and an original painting titled Torch Singer by West Hartford’s Sandy Welch. Sandy’s portrait became the driving inspiration behind the color palette and the mood of the room.
The woman in the painting feels completely at ease—confident, expressive, and immersed in the music. We envisioned a well-traveled couple living here, wanting this space to evoke a cozy Parisian café tucked within their historic home—a moody, romantic retreat layered with stories. Most evenings, we imagine them here, unwinding to vintage records on the gramophone, sipping bourbon hot toddies by candlelight, and dreaming up their next overseas adventure. The room is intimate, eclectic, and richly layered—evoking nostalgia, warmth, and quiet indulgence. If cigarettes were still in fashion, this would be the room to lean back, light up, and lose track of time.

Warm taupe walls, a gold X-base marble dining table, and a mix of velvet and leather seating — each element in this dining room leans into material warmth with quiet confidence.
The LINKORI STELLOQ Round chandelier completes the composition above, its alabaster drum casting a soft, enveloping glow that draws out the richness of the mixed textiles below.
Crafted from natural Spanish alabaster, each panel reveals subtle veining that filters light into a layered ambient atmosphere, flattering the room’s warm tonal range at every angle.
Its circular form adapts naturally to intimate dining rooms, where material harmony matters as much as illumination.
Designed for dining rooms and adaptable to open-plan living spaces, it functions as both a sculptural anchor and a refined light source.
Available Ø17.7"–39.4".

This entry off the garage proves that even the most hardworking spaces in a home can feel intentional and beautiful.
Designed as a true command center, it handles the daily drop zone chaos with ease — but you’d never call it boring. A full wall of custom, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry in a creamy off-white keeps everything tucked away and streamlined. Integrated shoe drawers make organization effortless, while brushed gold pulls add just the right amount of polish. It’s practical, yes — but it’s also refined.
Then there’s the wallpaper.
Instead of playing it safe, the backdrop leans all the way into bold. A dark-ground pattern layered with oversized florals and whimsical birds delivers instant personality the moment you walk in. What’s typically a pass-through space becomes an experience. It feels collected, confident, and completely intentional — like a little design surprise waiting behind the garage door.
A classic globe pendant with warm brass detailing casts a soft glow over the space, highlighting the richness of the pattern and finishes. And the warm wood flooring grounds everything, creating a seamless connection to the main living areas beyond.
This isn’t just a mudroom. It’s a stylish reset point — the place where real life meets really good design.

Gorgeous master bath finished with Dal-Tile's Fabrique porcelain tile in the color Noir Linen polished. Tile size is 12"x24" installed in a brick joint pattern. The floor boasts underfloor heating on a timed thermostat.

It’s no surprise these Hanover clients reached out to Cathy and Ed of Renovisions for design and build services as they wanted a local professional bath specialist to turn their plain builder-grade bath into a luxurious handicapped accessible master bath.
Renovisions had safety and universal design in mind while creating this customized two-person super shower and well-appointed master bath so their clients could escape to a special place to relax and energize their senses while also helping to conserve time and water as it is used simultaneously by them.
This completely water proofed spacious 4’x8’ walk-in curb-less shower with lineal drain system and larger format porcelain tiles was a must have for our senior client –with larger tiles there are less grout lines, easier to clean and easier to maneuver using a walker to enter and exit the master bath.
Renovisions collaborated with their clients to design a spa-like bath with several amenities and added conveniences with safety considerations. The bench seat that spans the width of the wall was a great addition to the shower. It’s a comfortable place to sit down and stretch out and also to keep warm as electric mesh warming materials were used along with a programmable thermostat to keep these homeowners toasty and cozy!
Careful attention to all of the details in this master suite created a peaceful and elegant environment that, simply put, feels divine. Adding details such as the warming towel rack, mosaic tiled shower niche, shiny polished chrome decorative safety grab bars that also serve as towel racks and a towel rack inside the shower area added a measure of style. A stately framed mirror over the pedestal sink matches the warm white painted finish of the linen storage cabinetry that provides functionality and good looks to this space. Pull-down safety grab bars on either side of the comfort height high-efficiency toilet was essential to keep safety as a top priority.
Water, water everywhere for this well deserving couple – multiple shower heads enhances the bathing experience for our client with mobility issues as 54 soft sprays from each wall jet provide a soothing and cleansing effect – a great choice because they do not require gripping and manipulating handles yet provide a sleek look with easy cleaning. The thermostatic valve maintains desired water temperature and volume controls allows the bather to utilize the adjustable hand-held shower on a slide-bar- an ideal fixture to shower and spray down shower area when done.
A beautiful, frameless clear glass enclosure maintains a clean, open look without taking away from the stunning and richly grained marble-look tiles and decorative elements inside the shower. In addition to its therapeutic value, this shower is truly a design focal point of the master bath with striking tile work, beautiful chrome fixtures including several safety grab bars adding aesthetic value as well as safety benefits.
