Not the typical “Farmhouse”, this stately with slight lean to Craftsmen style two story home sits prestigiously upon 60 acres of corn farmland. The siding is Portfolio in the warm tone of Cabin, accented with the trim painted in Benjamin Moore Decorators White & Pella Pro-Line white framed windows. Landmark roofing in Driftwood accented by Bucks County Chardonnay Southern Ledgestone.

It's backyard entertaining at it's finest. Quartzite Ledge stone panels cover the bar in two tones. The dark Midnight Black is contrasted against the lighter Oyster Shell and stainless and black granite counter top. You can see yourself gathering about this bar with friends any day of the week.

The covered porch in this project was renovated to update it's look. The existing tapered columns were replaced with these more contemporary-in-style versions...they are clean and simple which leaves the focus on the new Douglas Fir Arts-and-Crafts front entry door with side lights. The door has a beautifully rich custom stain that was also applied to the cedar tongue and groove ceiling that we installed.

This whole home renovation was a transformation of the main and upper floors, a garage conversion and a complete exterior facelift. The original garage was converted into a large practical mudroom, powder room, laundry and TV rooms. The walls between the kitchen, living and dining room were removed and a full island, bar area and a 6’ pantry were added. Shaker style cabinets in off white contrast with charcoal espresso cabinets for a dramatic effect in the kitchen. Hand scraped hickory hardwoods add durability and provide a solid foundation for the Ledgestone gas burning fireplace. Upstairs the master features floor to ceiling wall cabinets eliminating the need for a bureau. The ensuite is a beautiful retreat with a closed off water closet, double vanity and glass enclosed shower.

The Quarry Mill's Brighton grey ledgestone natural thin veneer creates a stunning drystacked outdoor living fireplace. Brighton is a neutral real thin stone veneer in the ledgestone style. The natural stone has fairly consistent shades of grey with an occasional touch of tan or brown mineral staining. Brighton shines as a unique grey natural stone with beautiful veining. The stone appears to be relatively monochromatic from a distance, however, upon close inspection the strong veining is apparent. Brighton’s veining comes from the layering of the stone within the ground. Horizontal veining like that found in Brighton can only be achieved with natural stone. Brighton falls into the ledgestone category due to the smaller heights. The individual pieces are shorter in length than most of our other natural stone veneers; the length is due to the formation of the stone within the quarry.
