Wow! What a “Great Room!” This phrase, taken in both its literal & literary meanings is one of the best ways to describe this amazing project. “Great room” def: a large room in a house that combines features of a living room with those of a dining room or family room. Check! We designed this project to extend the livable space of the house. With its wide A Frame porch, it allows for ample space to gather around the fireplace, relax in the mid-day heat or simply sit & marvel at the craftsmanship. We held nothing back on the detail, using reclaimed barn wood to create gorgeous beams, crown molding that wraps around the room, and custom curved detailing in the open gable. Reaching out to the side, we enter an intimate dining space featuring a built-in kitchen, a vinyl pergola & continued the stonework over, tying everything together! Lighting throughout the job was picked out by the homeowner & installed by our tech’s Plus, we built it with low maintenance products; Timbertech decking & Keylink aluminum railing – meaning, there is no sanding or staining!

And when ready to entertain in the stunning ship-lap walled space, the wet bar awaits, serving up refreshing beverages against a backdrop of an awe-inspiring vista. The perfect blend of style, entertainment and relaxation!

This family room cabinetry flawlessly continues the home's theme of rustic charm and modern convenience. The flat panel TV is perfectly framed by the built-in media cabinet, which beautifully complements the wooden mantel shelf in the stone fireplace surround. The fireplace is flanked by the media cabinet and a book shelf to balance electronic entertainment with the literary sort.

The project aimed to design a modern living space for adults to relax and lounge. The room underwent a complete transformation with new wall colors, flooring, furnishings, and a custom bookshelf installation. The walls were painted in a deep blue color to create a sense of calm and sophistication while the custom-designed bookshelf provided plenty of space for books. The space was grounded by a black and white rug featuring a geometric pattern. The overall effect is a stylish and inviting living room that showcases our bay area interior design service as a balance of style and functionality.

At the beautifully crafted game table, custom fabric chairs beckon invitingly, offering both comfort and style to those engaged in a spirited game or quiet conversation. The chairs are upholstered in luxurious fabrics, meticulously chosen to complement the room's color palette and enhance the overall ambiance of refinement. A reading lamp, elegantly poised on a nearby side table, casts a warm glow over the game table, providing focused illumination for players engrossed in their strategic pursuits. Its adjustable arm allows for precise positioning, ensuring optimal lighting for reading game instructions or studying the intricacies of the chessboard. As you settle into one of the plush chairs at the game table, surrounded by fresh flowers and lush greenery, you feel a sense of serenity wash over you. This library room is more than just a space for literary exploration; it's a sanctuary of comfort and sophistication, where every detail, from the custom furniture to the carefully curated lighting, has been thoughtfully selected to create an atmosphere of timeless elegance and relaxation.
