The basement in this lake house is wonderful for entertaining. The finishes in this area are lighter than the main floor and work well with all of the natural light that shines into this level. The hallway flooring is Kota green slate with a matching mosaic border. The hardwood floors on this level are Khars engineered flooring, Castle and Cottage series in oak tarcot wide planks. Our Approach
Main Line Kitchen Design is a unique business model! We are a group of skilled Kitchen Designers each with many years of experience planning kitchens around the Delaware Valley. And we are cabinet dealers for 8 nationally distributed cabinet lines much like traditional showrooms.
Appointment Information
Unlike full showrooms open to the general public, Main Line Kitchen Design works only by appointment. Appointments can be scheduled days, nights, and weekends either in your home or in our office and selection center. During office appointments we display clients kitchens on a flat screen TV and help them look through 100’s of sample doorstyles, almost a thousand sample finish blocks and sample kitchen cabinets. During home visits we can bring samples, take measurements, and make design changes on laptops showing you what your kitchen can look like in the very room being renovated. This is more convenient for our customers and it eliminates the expense of staffing and maintaining a larger space that is open to walk in traffic. We pass the significant savings on to our customers and so we sell cabinetry for less than other dealers, even home centers like Lowes and The Home Depot.
We believe that since a web site like Houzz.com has over half a million kitchen photos, any advantage to going to a full kitchen showroom with full kitchen displays has been lost. Almost no customer today will ever get to see a display kitchen in their door style and finish because there are just too many possibilities. And the design of each kitchen is unique anyway. Our design process allows us to spend more time working on our customer’s designs. This is what we enjoy most about our business and it is what makes the difference between an average and a great kitchen design. Among the kitchen cabinet lines we design with and sell are Jim Bishop, 6 Square, Fabuwood, Brighton, and Wellsford Fine Custom Cabinetry. Links to these lines can be found at the bottom of this and all of our web pages. Simply click on the logos of each cabinet line to reach their web site.

With a double panel of multi-colored Indian Rajah slate, the Nojoqui Falls Double fountain creates a display that is irresistible to the eye and combines a sound that is soothing to the ear. Capturing the raw beauty of its namesake, the beautiful 164 foot Nojoqui Falls near Solvang, California, our fountain combines natural elements with modern technology to bring nature's majesty to your living room. Nearly five feet tall and over four feet wide, this wall mounted fountain makes its presence felt in your home or office.
These water fountains feature your choice of four contemporary finishes framing double panels of Rajah slate layered onto lightweight composite material. The fountain is made with a splash-free design and features LED lighting to bring even more attention to the water falling past the slate. An adjustable flow valve allows you to adjust the rate of the falling water based on your mood, from a tranquil, calming curtain to a torrential cascade. Even with these features, installation is still a breeze, with no special tools. For truly unique and functional decorations, our indoor water fountains are beyond compare.
This water fountain can be customized with your logo.
NSI Slate™ – Water fountains made with our NSI™ Slate use our patent pending technology which sheers a layer of genuine Indian Raja Slate and fuses it to composite material with the same chipped edge technique as slab slate. They are indistinguishable from a thick slab of slate. All the beauty is retained and the weight is reduced by over 90% making it easier to hang a wall fountain.
*Please note that these units are handmade and measurements may vary slightly. Texture and color of the copper and slate may also vary slightly with each fountain.

Within a modernist house nestled in the hills, a family of five wanted to create a minimalist home to suit their casual, indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Our clients for this project, who have discerning tastes, but also love to have fun, collaborated with us on every detail. Everything in the home contains meaning, from the typographic artwork in the dining room that spells out “family” in logos, to graphics calling out the ownership of lockers in the mudroom, to the surfboards that line the stairwell like functional artwork.
All-white walls allow these details to take center stage, while Fleetwood doors slide open to usher the outdoors in and continuous concrete flooring unifies the indoor and outdoor spaces. Italian cabinetry, an opaque glass accent wall and an internal garage door that rolls up to reveal an industrial workout room complement the contemporary architecture, while in other spaces reclaimed barnwood and retro tiles provide a playful sense of contrast.

A custom home bowling alley installed in a recreation building adjacent to the main house. The theme is based on a nearby old gold mine. Faux rock and mine shaft timbers adorn the walls and ceiling. The bowling lanes have a "Honey Maple" color pattern with a mineshaft photo and custom logo on the masking unit. Guest bowling balls were custom made for this project in a maroon/orange/yellow swirl design.

This Classic Quarry large Horizon Falls wall fountain will instantly become the crowning jewel of any room you put it in, whether it's in your home or office. When you look at this fountain, your eye will be naturally drawn to the movement of the water over the Jeera Slate to the awaiting polished cream white river rocks. The calming effect of this sight and sound cannot be overstated.
Jeera Slate Stone, also known as Zeera or Jeera green slate, is a hard-wearing, waterproof and rot-proof stone which is actually quartzite. In huge demand, Jeera is ideally suited for decorative applications due to its exotic color and unique texture. Characteristic to Jeera slate is its diamond like sparkle and twinkle which comes from its mineral content, including quartz, mica, and occasionally garnet and pyrite.
Bluworld HOMelements™ Classic Quarry Line also features your choice of premium metals like brushed stainless steel, rustic copper with our signature hand-applied patina, or your choice of our standard colors like Black Onyx or Copper Vein trim kits. Remotely controlled dimmable, long lasting warm white LED lighting highlights the beauty of the stone color and texture. A removable rock tray allows easy access to the pump and adjustable flow rate valve. Cream White River Rocks are included.
This fountain can be customized with the logo of your choice.
Natural stone varies in color due to the different hues of the natural particles that make-up the product. All stones are natural and vary in color, intensity and veining. Photos are provided as an indication only. It is the variation in natural stone that makes each fountain quite unique.
Since this product is natural stone, color and texture variances are not defects within the material, but are inherent to it and part of the natural beauty of quarried materials. Our natural stone slabs are imported from quarries worldwide. The Classic Quarry Line contains stunning slices of the natural world. Due to the broad range of colors and textures (Granite excluded) you may wish to select your own stone. This culling service if offered for an additional fee and includes photos of 4 different slabs from your selected stone species. Stone selections must be made within 48 hours of photo receipt. Our Culling Service is not offered for Absolute Black Granite.

Realizing the positive effects of natural green surroundings, Ignitia Office hired us to decorate their interiors with our unique vertical wall gardens. Using different types of mosses and other preserved plants, Flowerbox Wall Gardens brought natural beauty to the Ignitia coworking space interiors. Round Wall Gardens were ideal for the lounge area, while Moss Logo Application was placed on their entrance.
