Nous avons séparé l'espace en deux afin de créer un coin salon et un coin salle à manger. Nous avons opté pour un mélange de plusieurs textures et formes : des rideaux en tissus épais, un miroir au style baroque, deux lustres ainsi que table basse en bois laqué.

Nous avons opté pour un mélange de plusieurs textures et formes : des rideaux en tissus épais, un miroir au style baroque, deux lustres ainsi que table basse en bois laqué. Nous avons ajouté un grand miroir afin d'agrandir la pièce et de lui donner de la profondeur.

This project won in the 2013 Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh Housing Excellence Award for Best Urban Renewal Renovation Project. The glass bowl was made in the glass studio owned by the owner which is adjacent to the residence. The mirror is a repurposed window. The door is repurposed from a boarding house. George Mendel

Where warmer temperatures and drier conditions make seasonal displays of cut evergreens a non-starter, create a winter windowbox that’s planted with lots of greenery in shades from emerald to lime and add a few seasonal touches. Here a bed of ivy (looks great year round) is tricked-out with white cyclamen, potted-up yellow peppers, and a few winter pansies. Can’t find peppers? Swap in fresh citrus such as kumquats. We think this one’s made for twinkle lights!
