Mary & Bohan were fun to work with. They loved their home and have plans to live there for the long term, However, their kitchen did not reflect who they were, and wanted to have a modern kitchen to enjoy and add functionalities.
The layout and function met their needs, but the overall all colors fell flat when it came to the cabinetry and countertops. The bones of the cabinets were strong, so they opted to have the cabinetry refinished. This created an opportunity to have a two-toned cabinet package. The upper cabinets we refinished to Pure White, and the base cabinets are Dovetail, both colors are from Sherwin Williams.
Simple, but supportive quartz was selected for the countertops. Portofino Classico Quartz countertops from Arizona Tile, which along with the refinished cabinets give a clean and elegant feel.
The backsplash tile was installed using Arizona Tile Bare White Subway 3X12 in a offset pattern. To break up the repetitive pattern we used dome liner that frames accent tile above range, and Arizona Tile Themar Statuario Matte 24X24 accent tile above range.

This modern bathroom renovation in Coquitlam highlights a minimalist vanity design that combines clean lines with durable, high-quality materials. The custom wood-tone vanity cabinetry introduces warmth to the space, while matte black hardware and plumbing fixtures provide a contemporary contrast against the light neutral palette.
A seamless white quartz countertop with an integrated undermount sink creates a sleek and easy-to-maintain surface. The large frameless mirror reflects natural and artificial light throughout the room, visually expanding the space and enhancing brightness.
Above the mirror, a modern linear LED vanity light provides even illumination for daily use. Careful coordination of materials, fixtures, and layout results in a refined and functional bathroom environment designed for long-term performance and timeless style.

As part of this full house renovation in Upper Lonsdale, North Vancouver, the main bathroom was redesigned to achieve a refined, modern aesthetic with long-term durability.
A custom floating double vanity was fabricated to maximize floor visibility and create a lighter visual footprint within the space. The integrated quartz countertop with dual undermount sinks provides clean lines and seamless maintenance, while polished chrome fixtures add subtle contrast against the warm neutral tile palette.
Large-format wall tile was installed with precise alignment to maintain visual continuity, minimizing grout lines and enhancing the room’s sense of height. Dual windows introduce natural daylight, balanced by contemporary vanity lighting for even illumination throughout the space.
The result is a bright, organized, and highly functional bathroom tailored for modern North Shore family living.

This homeowner in Wayne wanted to refine a small wooded area bordering their driveway and street without losing the natural character of the landscape. The space had been left largely unmaintained, with accumulated leaves, debris, and overgrown plants detracting from its potential.
Preparing the Landscape
Our team began by carefully clearing out unwanted growth, creating a clean foundation while preserving the existing woodland feel. Once the area was prepped, we added a healthy layer of bio-soil to improve planting conditions and support long-term growth.
To ensure the new landscape blended seamlessly with its surroundings, we selected shade-tolerant shrubs. These plants thrive in lower-light conditions and naturally complement wooded environments, providing structure, texture, and year-round interest without looking overly formal.
Natural Touches
Along the edge of the driveway, we installed a border of river rock to prevent mulch and soil from washing onto the pavement. The river rock not only serves a practical purpose but also adds visual interest and clearly defines the new planting area.

This modern townhome in Vaughan received some mid-century modern flair and some really fun wallpaper.
The large open concept living room was challenging in terms of creating a successful layout and we addressed it by bringing a large sectional closer to the center of the room rather than anchoring it against walls. Plenty of circulation space for a sideboard with a beautiful vinyl player, a collection of tall architectural prints and an eight foot tall floor lamp bring the eye up a double story living space.
Fun wallpaper creates a long feature wall in the living and dining area with a geometric pattern that brings some movement to the room and is also mirrored in the kitchen backsplash and sideboard veneer.
We designed a bedroom with the perfect shade of blue that will age nicely with our client’s young son along with a calming study perfect for getting some work done.

This Olympia, WA project features a flat, square backyard deck designed to serve as both an outdoor living space and an easy access point from the home. Built with brown composite decking, the layout keeps the design simple and open while giving the backyard a cleaner, more finished gathering area.
This photo highlights the matching picture-frame border, along with composite fascia in the same color on both the deck and the stairs for a more unified look. The broad, uncluttered surface makes the space flexible for everyday use, while the low-maintenance composite construction helps it stay practical over the long term. The result is a clean, durable backyard deck that works equally well for relaxing, entertaining, and convenient entry from the sliding door.

This Calabasas estate front yard renovation was engineered to elevate Calabasas curb appeal while preserving the character of a mature Calabasas oak canopy. The Calabasas precision-cut artificial turf lawn is sculpted around a river rock tree base, creating a refined focal point that anchors the entire Calabasas landscape composition.
Layered Calabasas stacked stone retaining walls introduce architectural depth and elevation control, while Calabasas drought-conscious planting and hardscape integration deliver a sophisticated, low-maintenance solution tailored for luxury Calabasas properties. This Calabasas front yard transformation blends Mediterranean elegance with modern performance, built for long-term value and visual impact.

The renovation was designed around the premise of being able to shower
or bathe and enjoy the beautiful country vistas from all angles. A beautiful free-standing
tub was centred among the oversized windows which lightened that end of the bathroom.
A European inspired walk through shower was created with an integrated tiled drain.
The six foot wide floor-to-ceiling glass wall provides drama with its simplicity. A
feature wall was created in the shower to house the plumbing and was kept sleek and
simple with natural looking tiles. The barnboard looking floor was inspired by the
surrounding barns on the property. The graceful lines of the tub are reflected in the
vessel sinks that sit atop the two maple Miralis vanities. A mirrored toe kick was used to
create the illusion of suspension while still providing long term structural stability. The
wooden ledge above the vanity acts as a landing zone for toothbrushes and makeup which
maximizes the space of the shallower vanity. The clean lines of the space draw your eye to
the outside and the air and light flows through the bathroom.

PROJECT | Duplicate-Duplex
TYPE | private residence / home-studio
LOCATION | Phayathai Rd., Bangkok, Thailand
OWNER | Ms. Najaree Ratanajiajaroen / Chanon Treenet
ARCHITECT | TOUCH Architect Co.,Ltd.
FLOOR AREA | 64 sq.m.
FLOOR AREA (by proposing) | 75 sq.m.
COMPLETION | 2018
PHOTOGRAPHER | Chalermwat Wongchompoo
CONTRACTOR | Legend Construction Group
A major pain point of staying in 64 sq.m. of duplex condominium unit, which is used for a home-studio for an animator and an artist, is that there is not enough space for dwelling. Moreover, a double-volume space of living area with a huge glass curtain wall, faces West. High temperature occurs all day long, since it allows direct sunlight to come inside.
In order to solve both mentioned problems, three addition items are proposed which are, GRID PARTITION, EXTENSION DECK, and STEPPING SPACE.
A glass partition not only dividing space between kitchen and living, but also helps reduce electricity charge from air-condition. Grid-like of double glass frame is for stuff and stationery hanging, as to serve the owners’ activities.
Extension deck would help filtrating heat from direct sunlight, since an existing high glass facade facing West.
An existing staircase for going up to the second-floor bedroom, is added by a proposed space above, since this condominium unit has no enough space for dwelling or storage. In order to utilize the space in a small condominium, creating another staircase above the existing one helps increase the space.
The grid partition and the extension deck help ‘decrease’ the electricity charge, while the extension deck and the stepping space help ‘increase’ the space for 11 sq.m.
