This outdoor living remodel was designed for homeowners who wanted more than a deck — they were looking for a true extension of their living space that would allow for quiet mornings, casual gatherings, and time spent outdoors without leaving the comfort of home.
The design includes three distinct zones: a screened-in porch, an open-air deck with a dining area, and a lower-level lounge with a fire feature. Together, these spaces support everyday flexibility and seasonal use, whether entertaining a group or enjoying a quiet evening outdoors.
Low-maintenance composite decking, clean-lined railings, and screened panel systems were chosen to reduce upkeep while preserving natural views. Inside the porch, layered lighting, soft seating, and a ceiling fan provide year-round comfort and a seamless indoor-outdoor transition.
This project reflects a simple but important goal: to create a connected, usable outdoor space that supports the way the homeowners live, relax, and gather.

Landscape is important for the completion of your home. However some people don't like the upkeep that goes along with having landscape. This project is a great example of low maintenance, seasonal color, and year round interest.

Trex Transcend Porch is available in three colors – Gravel Path (pristine grey), Fire Pit (spicy red) and Spiced Rum (warm, earthy umber with the streaked look of tropical hardwoods), Transcend Porch features both floor boards and coordinated post and railing options. It’s also low maintenance – resisting fading, staining, scratching and mold, and will not rot, warp, crack or splinter. Upkeep is hassle free, so you’ll spend more time relaxing and less time maintaining.
Trex Outdoor Furniture, such as swings and rockers are ideal finishing touches to your porch that add stunning curb appeal.

• Blue agave and prickly pear cactus
• Drought-tolerant plant selection
• Decorative river rock
• Concrete stepping stone pathway
• Artificial turf joints
• Low-maintenance landscape design

Wood Garage Door Look-Alike. Designed for homeowners who love the look of wood but not the upkeep, Clopay's Canyon Ridge Collection faux wood carriage house garage doors offer the best of both worlds: the realism, design flexibility and beauty of wood along with the benefits of a low-maintenance, energy-efficient, insulated steel garage door. Unlike real wood, the door is moisture resistant, so it won’t rot, split, shrink, separate, or crack. The cladding is molded from real wood boards to duplicate the natural texture and grain patterns to give each door one-of-a-kind character. The surface can be painted or stained. Doors shown: Clopay Canyon Ridege Collection Limited Edition Series, Design 13 with Mahogany cladding and overlays, factory-stained in a Dark finish.

This project focused on transforming the front yard into a clean, elegant, and low-maintenance landscape that enhances curb appeal while complementing the home’s architecture.
We installed premium artificial turf to create a lush, green lawn year-round without the upkeep of natural grass. A curved concrete walkway was added to guide guests naturally from the sidewalk to the front entry, softening the layout and creating a welcoming approach.
The existing mature trees were carefully preserved and integrated into the new design, providing shade, privacy, and character. Surrounding plantings and shrubs were refreshed and shaped to frame the home, adding depth and balance to the overall look.
Key goals of this project:
Improve curb appeal with a clean, modern layout
Reduce long-term maintenance and water usage
Preserve mature landscaping while upgrading functionality
Create a polished, inviting entry to the home
The result is a timeless front yard that feels open, organized, and vibrant, delivering both visual impact and everyday practicality.

Transforming the blank canvas of a basic builder’s backyard into a captivating retreat, we turned a grass-dominated space into an effortlessly elegant low-maintenance haven with a distinct Asian flair. At the heart of this metamorphosis is the expanded patio and walkway, featuring offset architectural pavers that not only captivate the eye but also contribute to a dynamic sense of flow throughout the elongated backyard.
A key focal point is the thoughtfully designed rain garden, adorned with strategically placed boulders that manages stormwater runoff in an aesthetically pleasing way.
The carefully curated plant palette plays a pivotal role in achieving the desired aesthetic. The deliberate choice of low grasses and foliage-forward perennials, coupled with the inclusion of small evergreen plants and vibrant Japanese maples, creates a harmonious blend of colors, shapes, and sizes. This contrasting arrangement not only ensures visual interest year-round but also infuses the space with a timeless allure inspired by Asian design principles.
The result is a backyard oasis that transcends the ordinary, offering a serene escape with minimal upkeep requirements. The strategic combination of hardscape elements, lush greenery, and carefully selected plants transforms this space into a sanctuary where the beauty of nature meets the sophistication of thoughtful design.
