This bathroom was inspired by nature and designed to feel larger than its 5'ish x 8'ish footprint. We accomplished this by accenting the back wall and tiling the shower surround to the ceiling to draw the eye back and up. Sticking with a neutral, bright color scheme and using a tall vanity mirror helps bounce the light to create the illusion of space.

The transparent silver shimmer transforms the yellowish OSB-structure in cool and glamorous rooms.

Floor has dark gray 12" x 24" tile on Schluter heated floor and same tile on tub wall surround with wall niche. Shower, tub and vanity plumbing fixtures and accessories are Delta Champagne Bronze. Vanity is custom built with quartz countertop and backsplash, undermount oval sinks, wall mounted faucets, wood framed mirrors and open wall medicine cabinet.

Detail-oriented cable management. This basement telephone jack is mounted to a wall with an open backside (into the workshop area). The extra cable that is normally left in the wall to future-proof connections is neatly coiled and placed in a manner to minimize unsightliness. Project background: A whole-home re-wire. DemNET Technologies was brought in to remove and recycle old, outdated wiring, and re-wire this home with modern, high speed cable. DemNET also installed a structured wiring center and telecom rack, ran new wires to the outdoor service boxes, installed a HDTV antenna in the attic, and installed 7.1 surround sound in the family room, with a Zone 2 setup in the basement. Our clients already had the beautiful lot on Burt Lake, all they needed was the home. We were hired to create an inviting home that had a "craftsman" style of the exterior and a "cottage" style for the interior. They desired to capture a casual, warm, and inviting feeling. The home was to have as much natural light and to take advantage of the amazing lake views. The open concept plan was desired to facilitate lots of family and visitors.
