This 2 bed 1 bath home was remodeled from top to bottom! We updated the floors, painted the whole interior a rich warm gray color and installed rustic wood tile flooring throughout. We worked on the kitchen layout quiet a lot because of it's small size, we opted for a large island but left enough room for a small dining table in the kitchen. We installed 36" upper cabinets with 3" crown molding to give the kitchen some height. We also wanted to bring in some of the Farmhouse style, so we installed subway backsplash with black grout. The only bathroom in the house is very small, but we made the most of the space by installing some cool tile all of the way to the ceiling. We then gave the space as much storage as we could with a custom vanity with beautiful granite and a large mirrored medicine cabinet. On the outside, we wanted the home to have some charm so we opted for a nice dark blue exterior color with white trim.

Molly's Marketplace handcrafted these White Sliding Barn Doors to fit our client's pantry opening. We also crafted the Modern Farmhouse Dining Table and stained it in a beautiful Walnut color to really make the space pop!

Our clients Linda and Dennis wanted a nice open floor plan with the kitchen island as the hub of their home. We achieved this by installing this beautiful kitchen island that is a different color than the rest of the kitchen cabinets. The idea was that the island itself stood out but worked nicely with the rest of the kitchen. Our clients also choose these incredible cream cabinets with brown rub giving them a Olde World cozy look. We then finished the look off with Oil Bronze Hardware.

We completely updated this home from the outside to the inside. Every room was touched because the owner wanted to make it very sell-able. Our job was to lighten, brighten and do as many updates as we could on a shoe string budget. We started with the outside and we cleared the lakefront so that the lakefront view was open to the house. We also trimmed the large trees in the front and really opened the house up, before we painted the home and freshen up the landscaping. Inside we painted the house in a white duck color and updated the existing wood trim to a modern white color. We also installed shiplap on the TV wall and white washed the existing Fireplace brick. We installed lighting over the kitchen soffit as well as updated the can lighting. We then updated all 3 bathrooms. We finished it off with custom barn doors in the newly created office as well as the master bedroom. We completed the look with custom furniture!

The Mansion in May Designer Show house 2006, the Ross Family Farm, Basking Ridge NJ designed and delivered by Linda Kitson of MarketPlace Designs in Summit (NJ). This skinny back stairway was planned in 1800's materials reinterpreted... linen, horsehair, tiger maple and wool.

When David came to us he asked for a Sliding Barn Door that would be a modern and contemporary look. He also wanted some privacy but wanted to let some light into the hallway that the door was going into. He also wanted the color to match his kitchen cabinets. We custom built this amazing door out of Poplar wood and stained it a Dark Cherry with a satin clear coat. We then installed it using this handsome stainless steel Barn Door Track and recess door handle for a spectacular look!
