Inspiration for a transitional closet remodel in Oklahoma City

This project included the complete renovation of the kitchen, creating a better connection with the dining room. We developed a welcoming space featuring frameless alder cabinets stained with licorice patina, engineered quartz countertops and wood panel refrigerator and freezer fronts. The Master Suite was also completely renovated to include an elegant and spacious bathroom with quartz countertops and natural limestone floors and shower walls with decorative accents. The walk-in closet features a fabulous dressing room with make-up vanity.

This industrial chic open floor plan home in Pasadena's coveted Historic Highlands was given a complete modern farmhouse makeover with shiplap siding, wide planked floors and barn doors. No detail was overlooked by the interior designer home owner. This kitchen is all about layering textures and hand-made artistry to give it a timeless look full of soul, with each material begging to be touched and appreciated as it’s own work of art. The remodel started by opening up 2 walls, removing windows, installing a 25’ long steel beam, vaulting the ceiling and adding skylights. The 12’ tall ceiling hood focal wall is the wow-factor of the entire open living, dining, kitchen and entry space of this home. The tiles are all hand-chiseled and hand-painted meaning no two are alike in both color and shape. We covered the entire hood wall with the tiles to create lots of texture, but in a minimal way so as to not take away from the texture in the wood walls and ceiling, and reclaimed mix of hardwoods that we had milled into flooring. We continue with the hand-made artistry with soft-black cabinetry, hand-brushed for a timeless look and flanked by reclaimed beams to bring in a warm touch. They’re topped with hand-troweled cement countertops to continue with the timeless vintage vibe. The expansive 9’ island is the perfect conversation and hangout space for a family and large groups. The industrial pendants, 5’ wide professional fridge/freezer, and 48” professional range (painted the famous Ferrari red at the Ferrari plant in Italy) make this a master kitchen perfect for the most discerning chefs and bakers.

This old home is in a trendy part of town and needed a kitchen to match its stylish owners and surrounding. For this space, we opted to focus on materials and finishes as the “look at me” items such as the custom vent hood surround, the island countertop, and the bead board ceiling. This custom kitchen checked all the boxes for this large family! Seating for all the kids on the island, room for the feast table, a 60" range for crafting mega meals, and the warm, cozy, comfortable feeling of home. We were successful in this pursuit by relocating the garage access, and reorienting the kitchen. This allowed for primary and secondary prep zones, primary and secondary wash zones and the chef zone on the island. Hidden appliances give the feeling that this is more than a kitchen, it's a family hang-out space. The soft visual texture of the Fantasy Brown Quartzite counters add a richness and depth. Walls wrapped in a high-performance textured wallcovering soften, while the grey trim and doors warms this cozy space.

This bright and sophisticated kitchen features deep blue custom cabinets and a built-in banquette at the end of the 11' long island. White oak floors add character and warmth. The antique gold cabinet hardware and gold lighting fixtures contrast beautifully against the rich cabinet color. Special features include a custom range hood with gold strapping, a pot filler, paneled refrigerator and freezer columns, two paneled dishwashers, a pullout recycling center under the tall cabinets and Monogram appliances (double ovens are not shown in the photos). The built-in banquette bench is upholstered in a kid friendly performance fabric and features storage drawers beneath the seating. An oval marble topped table compliments the banquette bench perfectly. The adjoining room, a wine library, flows beautifully with the kitchen space and features a tall wine column that can house over 150 bottles of wine and custom bookcases that showcase both open and closed storage. The wine library countertop features a durable quartz top and built-in electrical outlets.

Move right in to this immaculate and updated home situated on a beautiful pond lot. You will be delighted when you step into the foyer and see the gleaming hardwood floors that are throughout the first floor living space. The foyer also offers a large coat closet with extra storage under the stairs. The formal living room features dental molding and chair rail and is also the perfect home office space. The formal dining room features a crystal chandelier, chair rail, and dental molding. The family room is bright and sunny with a fireplace with a white brick hearth and mantle, recessed lighting, ceiling fan, open to the kitchen, beautiful views, and French doors to the screen porch. The kitchen is open with pond views, a breakfast area with a bay window and crystal chandelier, lots of cabinets, granite countertops, dual embedded stainless sink, stainless appliances, two pantries, Jenn-Air gas range with a down draft, porcelain tile floor, and more. The powder bathroom has just been updated with a refinished large vanity, granite counter, new sink, new toilet, and new faucet. The laundry room features a tile floor and extra cabinets. The spacious master bedroom offers pond views, Berber carpet, a large dual sink vanity with knee space, tiled walk in shower, linen closet, tub with tile surround, and a huge walk in closet. Bedrooms two and three are quite spacious with ceiling fans and ample closet space. Bedroom four is a great size with a ceiling fan and extra storage space. It does not currently have a closet, but one could easily be added. The second bathroom features a refinished large vanity with a quartz counter, new sink, new faucet, new toilet, tile floor, linen closet, and a tub and shower combo. You will enjoy spending the afternoons on the screen porch enjoying the backyard with beautiful views, oak trees, and an iron fence.
