Bedroom - coastal master bedroom idea in San Diego with white walls

These homeowners purchased this house for their retirement years. To make their retirement even more sweet, we took this confined and dated home and opened it up by raising and widening doorways, replacing carpet with hardwoods, and bringing more light through the whole space. To add detail and visual interest, 2-piece casing and paneling were added in the main hallway. The custom master bathroom includes inset cabinetry and a curved tub panel. This freestanding tub is as practical as it is beautiful and the brass hardware feels fresh and new. Symmetrical glass enclosures on either side enclose the shower and the water closet.

The 'her' side of this master bath provides ample storage and the vanity area closes up to hide hair and makeup supplies.

Here a glass enclosure was designed to enclose the water closet to keep the space feeling open and balanced.
