Woodside, CA spa-sauna project is one of our favorites. From the very first moment we realized that meeting customers expectations would be very challenging due to limited timeline but worth of trying at the same time. It was one of the most intense projects which also was full of excitement as we were sure that final results would be exquisite and would make everyone happy. This sauna was designed and built from the ground up by TBS Construction's team. Goal was creating luxury spa like sauna which would be a personal in-house getaway for relaxation. Result is exceptional. We managed to meet the timeline, deliver quality and make homeowner happy. TBS Construction is proud being a creator of Atherton Luxury Spa-Sauna.

A full height concrete fireplace surround expanded with a bench. Large panels to make the fireplace surround a real eye catcher in this modern living room. The grey color creates a beautiful contrast with the dark hardwood floor.

The existing bathroom was a work in progress, with many items left unfinished or exposed. We renovated the entire bathroom, leaving the shower, HVAC closet, and toilet in the same locations, but re-vamping all of the finishes except for the existing clay red floor tile which runs throughout the house. We added a finished ceiling in the bathroom in order to extend the HVAC ducts and supply air to the bathroom and provide additional lighting. We added pocket doors to both ends of the bathroom to provide privacy. We enclosed and sheathed the HVAC niche (located between the shower and the toilet niche) with cabinet panels and a shower door pull which serves as the door pull for the new HVAC closet as well as a towel bar that matches the back-to-back door pull to the shower enclosure.

A charming 1920s colonial had a dated dark kitchen that was not in keeping with the historic charm of the home. The owners, who adored British design, wanted a kitchen that was spacious and storage friendly, with the feel of a classic English kitchen. Designer Sarah Robertson of Studio Dearborn helped her client, while architect Greg Lewis redesigned the home to accommodate a larger kitchen, new primary bath, mudroom, and butlers pantry.
