When this suburban family decided to renovate their kitchen, they knew that they wanted a little more space. Advance Design worked together with the homeowner to design a kitchen that would work for a large family who loved to gather regularly and always ended up in the kitchen! So the project began with extending out an exterior wall to accommodate a larger island and more moving-around space between the island and the perimeter cabinetry. Style was important to the cook, who began collecting accessories and photos of the look she loved for months prior to the project design. She was drawn to the brightness of whites and grays, and the design accentuated this color palette brilliantly with the incorporation of a warm shade of brown woods that originated from a dining room table that was a family favorite. Classic gray and white cabinetry from Dura Supreme hits the mark creating a perfect balance between bright and subdued. Hints of gray appear in the bead board detail peeking just behind glass doors, and in the application of the handsome floating wood shelves between cabinets. White subway tile is made extra interesting with the application of dark gray grout lines causing it to be a subtle but noticeable detail worthy of attention. Suede quartz Silestone graces the countertops with a soft matte hint of color that contrasts nicely with the presence of white painted cabinetry finished smartly with the brightness of a milky white farm sink. Old melds nicely with new, as antique bronze accents are sprinkled throughout hardware and fixtures, and work together unassumingly with the sleekness of stainless steel appliances. The grace and timelessness of this sparkling new kitchen maintains the charm and character of a space that has seen generations past. For this project we converted an old ranch house into a truly unique boat house overlooking the Lagoon. Our renovation consisted of adding a second story, complete with a roof deck and converting a three car garage into a game room, pool house and overall entertainment room. The concept was to modernize the existing home into a bright, inviting vacation home that the family would enjoy for generations to come. Both porches on the upper and lower level are spacious and have cable railing to enhance the stunning view of the Lagoon.

This open living and kitchen view in the Hudson Bayou contemporary spec home was staged by iStage Homes to highlight the seamless flow between gathering spaces. A modern sectional with bright accent pillows anchors the living area, while the kitchen island with bar seating creates a natural focal point for entertaining. The staging emphasizes light, scale, and functionality—helping buyers envision comfortable modern living in this newly built Sarasota home.

Stepping into this bright modern home in Seattle we hope you get a bit of that mid century feel. The kitchen and baths have a flat panel cabinet design to achieve a clean look. Throughout the home we have oak flooring and casing for the windows. Some focal points we are excited for you to see; organic wrought iron custom floating staircase, floating bathroom cabinets, herb garden and grow wall, outdoor pool/hot tub and an elevator for this 3 story home. Completed in 2017, this single family home features matte black & brass finishes with hexagon motifs. We selected light oak floors to highlight the natural light throughout the modern home designed by architect Ryan Rodenberg. Joseph Builders were drawn to blue tones so we incorporated it through the navy wallpaper and tile accents to create continuity throughout the home, while also giving this pre-specified home a distinct identity.
