We completed this Toronto condo bathroom renovation early 2024. Our client was looking to remove the old bathtub and convert the space into a walk-in shower while also gaining a small bit of storage space. So we constructed a narrow wall and milled a few MDF shelves for her on one end of the newly built walk-in shower. The shower pan was envelope cut and laid with a porcelain tile along with a linear drain instead of a traditional drain round or square drain. The rain head shower trim kit was plumbed along with a hand-held shower and thermostatic valve. The floating MDF vanity shaker cabinet was custom designed/built and coated in OC-90 Vanilla Ice Cream paint color by Ben Moore. The countertop is a white quartz topped with the lovely vessel sink and simple lavatory faucet.

For this kitchen remodel, the homeowners wanted to give their old outdated kitchen a more updated look. They decided to reface their existing cabinets and went with a Shaker MDF Super Matte.

THIS TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN AND AND BATH REMODEL IN NORTH ASHEVILLE HAS CLEAN LINES AND A SLEEK LOOK. HomeSource Builders completed the demolition and subcontracted the installation, under the expert guidance of Project Manager Corey Rogers. A striking feature, he relates, is the tiling installed by Mosaic Custom Tile. “In my opinion,” he said, “the tile setters really made the kitchen stand out with the clean lines and sleek look the clients were trying to achieve.” In addition to the backsplash tile, HomeSource installed the kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as the kitchen and bath quartz countertops. It’s extraordinarily helpful when clients have well-defined goals. “These clients were ideal, and made my job much easier,” Corey said. “They were very detailed and knew exactly what they wanted.” Since the clients were renovating all bathrooms in the house, a challenge to overcome was phasing the project so that the client had a working bathroom at all times. This hurdle was easily overcome, though, with skillfully choreographed scheduling. Designer Christy Dunlap of HomeSource Design Center led the design charge. “Besides the pleasure of working with two delightful people,” she said, “it was great to design a beautiful navy kitchen with walnut accents.” Subcontractors employed to complete the remodel were French Broad Plumbing, Wired Right Electrical, Mountain Air Mechanical Contractors, Inc., Mosaic Custom Tile, Haywood Appliance, New Image Home Improvement, and Victor Chapina Painting. This master bath design has a luxurious feel with the glamorous touches like the ceiling and wall light fixtures, framed Robern mirrors, and a shower with a rain glass shower door. The gray Tedd Wood Luxury Line vanity with a Yellowstone door and a Transitional MDF center panel brings a classic contemporary feel to the design, beautifully offset by Top Knobs hardware, and topped by an engineered quartz countertop and two sinks. Shaker MDF doors and granite countertop. We refaced the existing cupboards and added new kitchen cabinets, installed Shaker MDF doors and panels. We didn't replace the original granite countertop because it was perfect but the stainless steel bar countertop was added. We also build a desk with shaker doors. Custom kitchen in Toronto.

For this main floor renovation, the kitchen was gutted and a new kitchen in an MDF Michigan door style was installed. We did bookcase style shelving on the side of the peninsula facing the living room. The kitchen features a coffee station, quartz countertops and a hexagon tile backsplash. An Virtuo Granite, black pearl sink with matching faucet and strainers were installed. The kitchen has 2 majic corners and a recycling/garbage centre. A grey porcelain tile floor was installed throughout the kitchen to bring it all together. Engineered hardwood flooring was installed throughout the family room, dining room, front entrance, stairs going up and the second level. The half wall was removed between the family room and dining room. The new linear gas fireplace was installed with a tile surround and barn wood beam. In the dining area, floating bookcases with crown moulding were installed on either side of the window. The ceiling lights were all replaced with new fixtures. The powder on the main floor was completely gutted. The engineered hardwood continued into the powder room, were we installed a new toilet, vanity and top and matte black accessories to match. A new door was installed with matching black hardware.
