Laminated glass is a safety glass that uses one or more layers of PVB film (polyvinyl butyral) or SGP between two or more pieces of glass. It is made under a special process and is combined into a whole through high temperature and high pressure within a certain period of time.
Longlass Laminated Glass Advantages:
1. We have high class dust-free constant temperature and humidity laminating production line.
2. We are the approved processor by SentryGlass
3. Our products meet the requirements of BS EN12600:2002 Class 1 (C) 1 ,and ANSI Z97.1-2015 Class A ,type 4.
An impact perfbimance test for materials in accordance with BS EN12600:2002 has been performed on the four given samples. The performance classification of the all test samples is Classification 1 (C) 1.
Performance Test
Sample:5mm tempered glass + 1.14 PVB + 5mm tempered glass
Impact Test: In accordance with Clause 5.1 of ANSI Z97.1-2015 Type 4
Thermal Test: In accordance with Clause 5.3 of ANSI Z97.1-2015
The distinguish between PVB & SGP:
1.The shear modulus of SGP is 50 times of that of PVB.
2.The Tear strength of SGP is 5 times of that of PVB.
3.The bearing capacity of SGP is 2 times of that of PVB.
4. The bending of SGP is only 1/4 of that of PVB.
In a word, SGP has better performance than PVB, and it's widely applied in glass path, glass ceiling, glass floor, Stair Treads, etc.
Longlass Laminated Glass Features
Energy saving
When sunlight directly shines on a piece of colorless laminated glass, the PVB interlayer film can absorb most of the heat and only radiate a part of the heat back indoors, making the indoor and outdoor heat difficult to conduct, reducing heat energy consumption, thereby maintaining indoor temperature and saving air conditioning Energy consumption.
Security
it can withstand the penetration of accidental impact. Once the glass is damaged, its fragments will still stick together with the intermediate film, which can avoid personal or property damage caused by the glass falling, and the whole piece of glass remains intact and can continue to withstand impact, wind and rain
Sound insulation
The interlayer film has the function of blocking sound waves, so that the laminated glass can effectively control the transmission of sound and play a good sound insulation effect.
Noise reduction
In the process of sound wave transmission, the glass on both sides of the film is reflected back and forth, and is attenuated and absorbed by the soft film. Generally, the noise can be reduced by 30-40 dB. The thicker the film, the better the noise reduction effect.
Decorative effect
The laminated glass can be sandwiched with various patterns, which can achieve the decorative effect, and there are also decorative effects such as ice glass.
UV resistance
The interlayer film has the function of filtering ultraviolet rays; the special PVB film can make laminated glass weaken the transmission of sunlight, effectively block ultraviolet rays, reduce the fading of indoor fabrics. The color PVB interlayer film has different light transmittance, and can control the ultraviolet and heat gain as needed. It will not block the penetration of visible light .

Space constraints and the homeowners' desire for a sleek, sturdy staircase drove the design of this highly custom solution. Instead of a traditional landing at the corner, the first two steps are winders that navigate the turn while meeting code requirements and conserving space. The open-riser design maintains visual lightness, while horizontal metal balusters, thick oak treads, white painted double stringers, and a modern oak handrail complete the clean, contemporary aesthetic. The result is a staircase that proves spatial challenges can inspire elegant solutions.

The Whistler fireplace mantel exemplifies architectural fireplace style. Featuring a sweeping mantel that tucks into a tailored profile this design was inspired by the robust stone fireplace found in Churchill’s office. This classic fireplace mantel is a stunning chimney piece designed for traditional living spaces. The mantel is cast in individual segments reminiscent of old-time stone fireplaces with the grout lines incorporated as a design feature.
To add grace, drama, or to meet the requirements of your fireplace unit consider a hearth to add to the design.

The Playground sofa is created to satisfy the need for combining sofa and bed.
Our idea with the Playground sofa is to offer a multi-purpose piece of furniture that is both flexible and mobile. Playground meets these requirements.
Placed as back support you then have the perfect sofa where you sit comfortably in all positions and on all seats. Place it as arm support and you have a comfortable chaise long. Place it on the floor and you can make a 'nest' where you can enjoy watching TV or reading.
Solid-wood frame with Nozag-spring seat-base, covered with polyurethane foam in a 600 g pre-compressed, fibre-fill wrap. The free movable backs consists of 100% foam. Back cushion filling is 100% down and small duck feathers sewn into a ribbed, feather-proof cambric casing. To retain the feather cushion’s appearance and shape, regular fluffing-up and airing are recommended. The Playground Sofa is available with fabric or leather upholstery.
Dimensions: 83" L x 45" W x 35" H - seat height 15"

Larry E. Boerder Architects
Needing a window product that met the needs of the particular rear yard curved turret feature, the architect relied on Crittall Corporate W20 window profiles to meet these requirements. A very crucial need for a radiused unit, curved glazing and intimate, thin lined profiles, perfectly fit into the Louis IVX inspired French limestone chateau.
Tall, large paned curved glass lites, set within the backyard facing Breakfast area allows the homeowner to experience the wonderful gardens and morning sun just inside – separated only by the graceful, curved glass window units that Crittall seamlessly achieved.

Aesthetic Value: The custom tapered square newels with flowing stepped design of the balustrade create a beautiful but understated look. Adding to the welcoming feel of the foyer yet not overwhelming it.
Stair Safety: The construction of the interlocking wood panel system creates a balustrade that is much more ridged. This removes the need for intermediated post that you sometimes find in traditional balustrades for them to meet code requirements.
Quality: No joints or seams could show on the finished panel system. All parts were cnc cut for the most precise joinery possible.
Technical Challenge: Since all the panels where fabricated off site super precise field dimensions were a necessity. Using those measurements and CNC fabrication, panels were created that fit perfectly together and on the site.

One of our commercial designs was selected for this beautiful clubhouse and fitness center. The design features square wooden newels and wooden stringers finished with grey semi-gloss paint to match the vertical metal rods and handrail. This particular staircase was designed for a complete metal balustrade system and carpeted treads, so that the stairs could meet code requirements for a commercial setting.

The attic space was transformed from a cold storage area of 700 SF to useable space with closed mechanical room and 'stage' area for kids. Structural collar ties were wrapped and stained to match the rustic hand-scraped hardwood floors. LED uplighting on beams adds great daylight effects. Short hallways lead to the dormer windows, required to meet the daylight code for the space. An additional steel metal 'hatch' ships ladder in the floor as a second code-required egress is a fun alternate exit for the kids, dropping into a closet below. The main staircase entrance is concealed with a secret bookcase door. The space is heated with a Mitsubishi attic wall heater, which sufficiently heats the space in Wisconsin winters.

Every once in a while, a project comes along that doesn’t just meet expectations—it resets the standard. That’s exactly what happened at Upper Valley project, where the team at GoDesigns El Paso was entrusted with a blank canvas and turned it into a fully integrated luxury retreat, built with precision, purpose, and passion. At the core of this dream backyard is a custom-designed pool and spa, meticulously planned and built together. The pool glows with a Pebble Brilliance finish, its deep, vibrant tones shimmering under sunlight by day and glowing softly under water-lit skies at night. Lightstreams glass tile adds a jewelry-like elegance to the raised spa and the sun shelf, creating rich reflections and textures from every angle. That sundeck isn’t just for lounging—it’s a tactile, thoughtful experience. Designed with Lightstreams glass tile, it’s where kids play, grownups cool off, and everyone can dip their toes and soak their feet in style. It’s as inviting to walk across as it is to sit beside, offering both elegance and functionality. A standout design element is the set of custom stainless steel handrails, elegantly curved and installed with sculptural intent. Not only are they beautiful, but they’re also built to last—resistant to corrosion, timeless in design, and made for safety without sacrificing aesthetics. While beauty was key, so was resilience. The entire project was engineered to meet 100-year flood zone requirements—a critical design element in this El Paso neighborhood. GoDesigns accounted for water flow, elevations, and structural integrity, ensuring that every footing, drainage channel, and grade slope works in harmony with nature. And there’s more than water to love here. The oversized mossrock boulder waterfall along the edge of the putting green is both functional and artistic. Designed as a “table rock” feature, it creates soothing sound and visual movement while anchoring the landscape’s natural side. It’s a conversation piece as much as a sensory experience. Just steps away is a personal putting green and a custom basketball half court, both thoughtfully illuminated for day-to-night enjoyment. The putting green rolls true, edged with boulders and sand pits, while the court boasts pro-level surfacing under bright, architectural pole lighting. The surrounding landscape design ties it all together. Carefully chosen plantings bring color, texture, and balance to the clean stonework and turf areas. Strategic lighting highlights not just the beauty of the plants, but also enhances safety, drama, and ambiance across the entire yard—including the fence lines, water features, and sports zones. Every inch of this Upper Valley Project was built for purpose, performance, and passion. It’s a space where families gather, grand kids play, and memories are made—all under the sun and stars of West Texas. This is what happens when GoDesigns El Paso gets to do what they do best: combine timeless design, elite materials, and masterful installation to create outdoor living environments that are not only beautiful, but unforgettable.
