This kitchen perfectly reflects the clean lines and natural appeal of Mission furniture. With a little help from the Merillat® Classic Accents Collections, we created a one-of-a-kind island. Estero legs lift up a collection of four wall cabinets to create a furniture-like island. The space under the cabinets adds an openness and lightness to the room that just feels right. Steps away from the cook-top, this island is a handy place to finish prep work and keep ingredients. On the back wall, we've added many great storage options such as a Wall Open Cabinet with wicker baskets, drawers with Drawer Organizer Kits inside, deep Base Drawers, as well as a variety of Wall Cabinets. An innovative way to make small, narrow high windows appear bigger is to place Wall Mullion Glass Door cabinets directly below them. The lights inside the cabinet add to the natural light coming from the windows and make the room feel brighter. A curved peninsula holds the sink and provides comfortable seating. While finishing touches like Small Corbels complete the look.

Take country styling to an elegant new level with this serene kitchen. Harmond maple cabinets in Greyloft, punctuated by striking end cap legs, are beautifully accented by the tile backsplash. Stainless appliances, white painted chairs and a printed Roman shade mix traditional lines with modern textures. And Prism glass inserts, contrasting cabinet backs in Aegean, and Century knobs add shining details. One key to this highly livable space is the L-shaped island, built at two heights to accommodate both kitchen prep and dining. Another is the abundance of storage, from wall cabinets that display favorite pieces to base cabinets that hide away other items. A variety of lighting options suit a variety of needs, including recessed lighting to illuminate tasks, a beaded light rail that casts an evening glow, and a chandelier that encourages relaxed dining.

This kitchen radiates Old World charm and modern convenience, thanks to LaBelle Maple cabinetry in Toffee with Java Glaze finish. Cool green walls and stainless appliances balance the expanse of warm wood cabinetry and flooring. Dark hardware, glass front cabinets, under cabinet lighting and other decorative enhancements provide an elegant consistency to the space. Separate work zones maintain order. An island with prep sink and microwave cabinet is both easily accessible and out of the way. An ample countertop and a cookbook tray / media center keep your eyes on the recipe while your hands are on the dough. And since a key to kitchen function is storage, this kitchen features a bank of drawers under the range, plenty of wall cabinets, and open shelving to keep pots, pans and pantry staples neatly organized and within reach.

With Merillat® Classic, even small spaces can be an opportunity to make a big statement. Two Wall Cabinets with glass doors add storage while keeping the small space feeling light and airy. Drawers and closed cabinets keep all the clutter neatly stored away, making it easy to maintain a neat and tidy bathroom. Choosing light colors and limiting your palette to only a few colors is a great strategy for making small spaces seem bigger. We selected a light countertop to add a pop of brightness to the space. And by using just blues and whites, we created a variety of textures and patterns that add interest without overwhelming the small space. The floor is a pinwheel tile, which is a more traditional tile pattern found in many older homes. We gave the room a modern twist by adding light blue glass tiles on the lower half of the walls. Stained glass windows or decorative window clings add to the look while adding privacy - a fantastic alternative to traditional window treatments.
