This kitchen remodel was fueled by the customer wanting an updated kitchen. They wanted to update with the thought of selling sometime down the road. The new kitchen needed to please them but timeless for the next owners. They love the modern look but didn't want to take it to the extreme. White, flat panel, cabinets keep it fresh and classic. Adding the vertical marble and glass tile give it a little more modern feel. It is truly a beautiful kitchen that will be pleasing to all that live there.

The new space is created using Mid Continent Cabinetry luxurious Duncan door style in Maple with a Portobello paint finish enhanced with a chocolate glaze. Countertops are done using Cambria's Windermere quartz.

Braun Building CenterDynamic shades of gray and cream with flecks of golden copper are showcased on the Cambria Windermere 3cm quartz displayed on the countertops of this large center work island. A Ledge profile edge was used to complement the quartz surface and beaded back panel adds a decorative touch to the Mid Continent Cabinetry. The large center work island features a built in microwave, base trash unit and stainless steel prep sink. Cabinetry base is enhanced with a beaded panel backer.

Medford Design-BuildThe walkway that we closed up in the kitchen is now home to the new stainless steel oven and matching hood vent. Previously, the oven sat on the reverse side of the kitchen which did not allow for an overhead vent. Our clients will certainly notice a difference in cooking now that the space is properly ventilated!
The new wall also allows for additional cabinet storage. A space-saving Lazy Suzan sits in the lower cabinets to the left of the oven, while a stack of wide utensil drawers conveniently occupies the right side.
