Cheng Design pits hard-edged industrial materials — concrete block, galvanized siding, steel columns, stainless steel cable and welded I-beams — against softer residential elements, such as stained-wood siding and a grid of exposed wood framing that supports the roof. This project included custom reproduction of the existing (rotted) spindles. Making perfect reproduction spindles is easy: 1. Email us with dimensions, quantity, and a picture. 2. We will send a quote for approval. 3. Upon approval, send us an original. We can then make an unlimited number of copies. The gooseneck railings on this job were salvaged and repaired. We can, however, make new gooseneck rails if your project requires.
