Inspiration for a modern bedroom remodel in Portland

Much of what we decided to move to DC consisted of items that my husband and I had collected over 30 years. Decided it was important to keep stuff we loved, not worried too much about how it all fit together. This space is temporary ... we'll further declutter and organize before moving to a new home after our "assignment" in DC is completed and we move again.

Master closet addition in new color called Artic with nickel rods, hardware and accessories. This design included a double hutch and full island with doors and drawers for additional storage. Double hutch also included two shoe shelf towers, one on each side. ​

My most difficult and time consuming bed. The curve of the headboard and footboard is created by individual staves that are beveled on both edges and splined together to allow for expansion and contraction. A graceful yet dominant piece.
