Nous avons donc aménagé une nouvelle cuisine s'orchestrant idéalement avec le carrelage. L'illusion est parfaite, on pourrait penser que la crédence a été choisi méticuleusement pour s'harmoniser parfaitement avec le style du mobilier ! A&E Construction. This Pennington NJ remodel of a master bath en-suite features marble basketweave tile detailing and a generous walk-in shower area. One memorable aspect of this design is the continuous marble slab that simultaneously serves as a tub deck and continues into the shower area to serve as a bench seat. Tomatoes and cucurbits (cucumbers, squash, melons etc) do well in this extremely sunny site. Even though it is on the 3rd floor, it is visited by bees (seen here), dragonflies, and the occasional butterfly. This is because there are many pollinator-friendly flowers grown on this balcony for their ecological benefits, but also for their beauty and color. You can observe bees being very methodical in their visits to flowers - they go in sequence up and down flowering vines, not missing a single flower!

Spectacular red granite boulders through out the rough landscape, harsh winds, intense heat and sometimes, even snow, were all horticultural challenges and inspirations on this beautiful Mediterranean seaside property. Nicholas Walker and his team worked in conjunction with his brother Malcolm to create a stunning series of Belgian Blue Stone terraces and pathways to connect the diverse sections of the property and integrate the indoor and outdoor living experience. They designed a sheltered cactus oasis, organic culinary garden and an intimate Ipe observation deck as virtual rooms linked by the elegant stone pathways and framed by the sea.

This is the 2470 SF Island Cottage on Pilings. The house boasts a wrap around porch - part of which is screened, ground floor garage, 180 degree windows in the living room and dining room space, second floor bedroom roof decks, plus an observation loft. Can you spot the jungle?⁠⠀This is a DIY garden I designed conceptually and that was executed by the client based on my observations of what they like/not and their style of living, putting them in touch with the relevant suppliers I knew. What I love best though is their beautiful execution and loved the collaboration that occurred throughout the project and their continued dedication to its maintenance. ⁠⠀

Forms and colors inspired by rural buildings of old Napa Valley were finished to complement the owners urban aesthetic. This collection of shed and gable structures blend simplicity, sophistication and a connection to the land to create a home, gallery and studio. At its heart, is a three-story wine tower for wine storage and a 270-degree observation deck. Pedestal-mounted solar panels track the sun and provide energy for the radiant floor heating system and electrical needs. Low e-glazing, high-efficiency insulation and sun-control shading systems maintain interior temperatures.

Second floor office opens onto a roof deck. The aluminum stairs were ordered from a company that makes stairs and equipment for boat docks. They lead to the third floor observation deck.

The house consists of two identical parts: these are our twin brothers, who proudly raise their cantilever heads and look into each other’s eyes. 30,000 tons of soil and now they rise above the landscape like silent observers dividing one heartbeat into two. “This house has become both a continuation of nature and its opposition. FUTAGO is a blank sheet of paper in which tons of concrete, glass, passion and the power of the human spirit have merged. All to admire the beauty around and learn to see the beauty inside” comments the founder of the studio and architect Serhii Makhno.
