Encircling a sleek pool, this garden for a growing family offers comfortable spaces in which to play, relax and dine. New raised planters and containers overflow with citrus, herbs and colorful Mediterranean plantings. Synthetic turf provides a soft, inviting play place in a shady area of the yard. This majestic home was brought back to life with a full gut and remodel. We captured the original characteristics while integrating the modern features. The client wanted to create a space where family and friends can gather and partake in what this wonderful old home has to offer.

This is a two-story addition: a master suite addition on the second floor, which includes a master bedroom, bath, and new walk-in closet); on the first floor is a new three-season porch. The three-season porch has removable screens that can be replaced with glass in cooler months. It has electricity and a ceiling fan. Our clients very much appreciate Tibma Design/Build's suggestions.

Our kitchen is a small, galley-style kitchen that is not an open concept [at all],” she says.
However, that did not stop the family from having some big design ideas. These ideas included, requesting a breakfast nook area for the kids; a pantry and laundry space; and lots of storage.
The result was an IKEA galley-style kitchen with a minimalistic look that incorporated an efficient workflow and ample storage options.
The look is enhanced by plenty of natural and overhead lighting as well.
