Submerse yourself in a serene bath environment and enjoy solitude as your reward. Select the most inviting and luxurious materials to create a relaxing space that rejuvenates as it soothes and calms. Coordinating bath furniture from Dura Supreme brings all the details together with your choice of beautiful styles and finishes. Mirrored doors in the linen cabinet make small spaces look expansive and add a convenient full-length mirror into the bathroom. Two tall linen cabinets in this two-tone bathroom add vast amounts of storage to the small space while adding beauty to the room. The “Cashew” gray stain on the linen cabinets match the undertones of the Heritage Paint finish and at a beautifully dramatic contrast to the design. This sublime bathroom features Dura Supreme’s “Style Four” furniture series. Style Four offers 10 different configurations (for single sink vanities, double sink vanities, or offset sinks), and multiple decorative toe options to coordinate vanities and linen cabinets. A matching mirror complements the vanity design. Over time, a well-loved painted furniture piece will show distinctive signs of wear and use. Each chip and dent tells a story of its history through layers of paint. With its beautifully aged surface and chipped edges, Dura Supreme’s Heritage Paint collection, shown on this bathroom vanity, is designed to resemble a cherished family heirloom. Dura Supreme’s artisans hand-detail the surface to create the look of timeworn distressing. Finishes are layered to emulate the look of furniture that has been refinished over the years. A layer of stain is covered with a layer of paint with special effects to age the surface. The paint is then chipped away along corners and edges to create, the signature look of Heritage Paint. The bathroom has evolved from its purist utilitarian roots to a more intimate and reflective sanctuary in which to relax and reconnect. A refreshing spa-like environment offers a brisk welcome at the dawning of a new day or a soothing interlude as your day concludes. Our busy and hectic lifestyles leave us yearning for a private place where we can truly relax and indulge. With amenities that pamper the senses and design elements inspired by luxury spas, bathroom environments are being transformed from the mundane and utilitarian to the extravagant and luxurious. Stone and stucco combine with multiple gable peaks and an impressive, front entry to create stunning curb appeal for this European home. The grand foyer greets visitors on the inside, while the dining room and bedroom/study flank the foyer on both sides. Further along, the great room includes a cathedral ceiling, porch access and wall of windows to view outdoor scenery. The breakfast room and kitchen are also open to the great room and one another, simplifying mealtime. On the other side of the home, a large master suite was designed to pamper the homeowner. A bowed sitting area grants extra space in the bedroom, while the luxurious master bath features a corner shower, large soaking tub, his-and-her vanities and private privy. In the basement are three bedrooms, each with their own full bath—and added treat! A large rec room with fireplace completes the basement and provides an additional gathering space in the home.

Luxurious Escapism Our bathrooms no longer serve as spaces where we just wash, but are rather evolving into places to relax and unwind in. This trend includes rich textures such as the Concetto surfaces, and décor, furniture and accessories we might usually associate with living rooms or bedrooms, for a cozier feel. It is no surprise that the stand alone bathtubs have made their way into this trend - combined with floating sinks, the right lighting, and floor and wall cladding in neutral, soft color palettes, bathrooms immediately turn private homes into pampering spas. Dark, dated and dingy - now transformed after this home was flooded into a light, bright and beautiful space. The shower in this space was closed in on all three sides with a low and suffocating ceiling. We raised the ceiling, put a window in the wall that allowed all the natural light in and now we have a bright and breezy shower. Dated ceramic tile floors gave way to a beautiful marble and capiz shell inlay that makes everyone who walks on it feel like a star. Oversized vanity mirrors with beautiful gold and glass sconces make the room feel that much larger. The Built in towel warmer in the built in takes the pampered luxury of this space to the next level as does the freestanding airjetted tub.

This themed guest room is part of a whole house remodel, furnishings and accessories project. Our work included the the 4500 square feet interior and consulting on the exterior façade and paint. To indulge the homeowner's guests, we created a luxurious space to be considered as a second master bedroom of the home. Custom headboard and bedding in shades of blue gray. Hand painted wallpaper with crystal wall sconces create an inviting reading nook. The wool Masland Carpeting pattern is repeated in the metallic chest. Window treatments soften the lines of the shutters overlooking the views of Portland. A custom vanity and glass mosaic tile updates the sink area of this guest bedroom. A room to pamper any guest overnight!
