"Builder Beige" new construction. This guest bath came with bare white cabinets, grey walls and basic frame less square mirror with vanity light over the mirror. I added this black oversize picket tile back splash with charcoal/black grout. I replaced the builder grade mirror with a round metal framed one. We changed the lighting by, removing the light above the mirror and added two sconces, one on each side. For the final touch, I added the black hardware, to ensure the white cabinets remain white for as long as possible. Cabinets without hardware tend to get dirty quicker, because the doors pick up the oils from our hands. I wanted to avoid that for as long as possible.
The water closet came with this out-swing shower door.
The space was extremely tight for the smallest of people,
so for anyone of any size would feel closed in. So, I
switched out the builder grade out-swing shower door with a semi-frame-less sliding shower door. This allows for more room to move around, opening the space up just a tad.

Formerly heavy in red oak — from cabinets to floors to walls — this lake cabin needed love.
The kitchen was completely gutted and new KraftMaid cabinetry was added. An oblique art-glass tile backsplash incorporated warm tones of terra cotta, slate blue, taupe and ivory. This blends beautifully with the Cambria Bradshaw quartz countertops, with its flakes of copper and mica, and veins of caramel and charcoal.
The former boring 12"x12" beige tile floor was replaced with 12"x20" oblong tile with a custom inset of coordinating tiles with copper tile rosettes.
A custom faux-painted range hood mimics the look of patina copper.
The open dining area features a wood trestle table with two poppy-colored linen captains chairs. Two taupe linen benches can be pulled up to the table when extended to it's full 110" length, seating 10 people easily.
The 9'x13' wool rug has a taupe base and brightly colored diamonds that mimic the backsplash colors. An iron and glass chandelier gives a modern farmhouse vibe. A charcoal accent wall breaks up the neutral walls and picks up the charcoals in the valance fabric and quartz countertops.

With 106,000 acres located in the Chattahoochee National Forest, Blue Ridge is definitely the cure for whatever ails you. Rent a cozy cabin or a luxury mountain home, or stay in a bed & breakfast inn or hotel -- and simply relax.
Enjoy Mother Nature at her best…
Renew your spirit on a day hiking to nearby waterfalls or horseback riding on forested trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Bring the family and discover the thrill of an Ocoee River whitewater rafting adventure, ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway or treetop canopy adventure. Rent a pontoon or a jet ski on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Pick strawberries or blueberries at Mercier's, a 65 year old family orchard. Catch a trout on the tailwaters of the Toccoa River or a clear mountain stream; Blue Ridge is the Trout Fishing Capital of Georgia.
Fall in Love with Blue Ridge…
Fall in love with the authentic mountain towns of Blue Ridge and McCaysville. Blue Ridge is an Art Town, filled with art galleries, antique and specialty shops, restaurants, small town atmosphere and friendly people. A river runs through the quaint town of McCaysville, twin city with Copperhill, Tennessee. Stand in both states at one time at the Blue Line, which marks the spot where Georgia ends and Tennessee begins. Here the Toccoa River becomes the Ocoee River, flowing northward into Tennessee.

Pro-Painting & Drywall
6 Reasons you should hire Pro-Painting & Drywall, Inc.
Are you on the fence about hiring a professional house painting company? We understand! Here are 6 reasons why hiring a professional painter might be right for you:
Saves time
You know the parts of painting that everybody hates? The prep work of scraping, cleaning, sanding, filling holes, caulking, removing outlet covers, protecting floors and other surfaces, and all of that other fun stuff? Pro-Painting takes care of that for you.
Quality job
We’ve been painting homes for decades, which means we know the ins and outs of professional house painting.
Color expertise
We’ve painted every color of the rainbow in every style of home imaginable. Not only is it our profession, it’s also our passion. When you hire Pro-Painting & Drywall you’re not only getting the knowledge of paint quality and expertise, you’re hiring a company who’s participated in helping designers and homeowners achieve their color dreams.
Cleanup
Hiring Pro-Painting & Drywall means that you can kick back and relax, knowing that your home will be as sparkling clean as it was before the paint job!
Efficient
This is what we do full-time, whereas most people pick up a paint brush just for a quick DIY on the side of their day-to-day activities.
We are going to be able to get your beautiful, high-quality paint job done more quickly than you’d be able to do on your own.
Insurance
One of the best reasons to hire a professional painter is that they are licensed and insured. This means you have peace of mind that you wouldn’t have if you painted your home on your own.

Dallas White granite is a good, honest choice for a kitchen that gets used every day. It's a granite with a light gray to white background and darker gray and black mineral flecks scattered through it, sometimes with a little movement in the pattern. It reads clean and bright in a kitchen without being flat or plain, and it works with just about any cabinet color you put it next to.
Granite is one of the hardest natural stones we fabricate, and that's what makes it a smart pick for a room where people actually cook. It shrugs off heat from a hot pan set down without thinking, it resists scratching from knives and everyday kitchen traffic, and it holds up to the daily wear a kitchen counter takes better than almost anything else we install. It does need to be sealed, and we take care of that at install so it's protected against staining from day one.
Getting a granite kitchen right comes down to the template and the layout at the shop. We lay out the slabs so the pattern falls where it should across the counters, keep seams tight where two pieces meet, and cut the openings for the sink and cooktop clean and square. The edge on this one is eased, a simple, smooth-rounded edge that's easy to keep clean and doesn't chip the way a sharp edge can over time.
This kitchen is in Lexington, part of the work we do across the Midlands where granite still holds up as one of the best all-around choices for a working kitchen. Dallas White gives the room a bright, durable surface that's going to look right for a long time, and it does the job every day without asking for much back.

Here’s what some people may refer to as the “fun part” of a redesign—picking out all the pretty stuff. First, choose your appliances. Many higher-end brands such as Sub-Zero and Wolf currently have a lead time of six to 12 months due to COVID. The cabinets, which have a shorter lead time of eight to 12 weeks on average, says Frederick, will then be built around them. From there, you’ll work with your designer to solidify all the details, such as cabinet door style, countertop material, decorative hardware, fixtures, flooring, backsplash and the sink.
“This is the stage where you finalize the design and prepare final floor plans, elevations, details and, if applicable, mechanical and electrical drawings, lighting switch plans and exterior elevations,” says Terrill. It’s essentially an extension of step No. 4, except here you’re confirming all the details and making sure everything is going as scheduled. For example, at this point your builder will give the interior designers a schedule so the designer can make sure everything (such as the countertop marble) is on-site and ready for installation.
Assuming you’re changing the footprint of the kitchen, you’ll need to figure out specific details as they pertain to the construction, our designers note, such as:
How will the construction team remove debris? With a dumpster or will they keep it in your garage or yard?
Will there be a staging area for cutting wood and tile?
When will you need to be out of the house, and for how long?
Where can crew members use the bathroom?
Can/should the crew work on weekends and if so, during what hours?
Keep in mind too that certain requests might require more money, such as having the crew clean-up their dusty mess daily rather than, say, once a week.
