Screen rooms are an affordable way to create an outdoor space that is protected from the environment. With the milder weather here in Western North Carolina, a screen room can be a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the outdoors for eight or nine months out of the year and it is more affordable than a sunroom addition.

Home design - traditional home design idea in Edmonton

It’s hard not to crush on Brooklyn-based fibers fine artist Liz Collins’ work. She uniquely recreates her experience of the world as a place of stupendous wonder and cosmic energy with vivid palettes, dynamic patterning and intoxicating wit. Inspired by stills from the edgy 1982 cult classic film Liquid Sky—which zeroes in on the subculture of downtown New York’s club scene in the early New Wave era—Permanent Sunset creatively captures the pleasure centers of our brains as they played a prominent part in the film’s story and art direction. Offered in a range from far out to more calming magic-hour hues, this hand-screened print allowed us to further flex our color capabilities with transparent inks and duo chrome powders to create colorways that are truly dynamic and full of depth. It’s pure alternate dimension eye candy.

This project combines high end earthy elements with elegant, modern furnishings. We wanted to re invent the beach house concept and create an home which is not your typical coastal retreat. By combining stronger colors and textures, we gave the spaces a bolder and more permanent feel. Yet, as you travel through each room, you can't help but feel invited and at home.
