Eclectic exterior home idea in Los Angeles

This was a very nice looking master bath to start, but lacked personality and custom flair. ATD helped the homeowner visualize ideas to give it pizzazz. We enlarged the walk-in shower and used NuTravContro walnut tile; maple bayside cabinetry with ebony glaze; a roman tub, Chrome Delta faucets with a slide bar hand shower. The downstairs was transformed into a movie room with a custom dry bar, updated lighting, and a gallery wall that boasts personality and style.

A vibrant floor tile and wall covering transforms doing laundry from a dull chore to a delightful task. The owners of this remodel desired a refreshing new master bathroom. The original layout was poorly designed with minimal storage, a small shower, a rarely used bathtub and a water closet that was difficult to access. The old vanity flanked a curved wall of glass block (the main challenge with this space) which didn’t allow for mirrors and was always cluttered because of limited storage. With smart space planning and attention to detail this well-appointed bathroom is now a uniquely personal space that functions brilliantly and balanced for the homeowners. Photo: DeMane Design

The client’s vision was to create a cohesive look through out their entire home, from the front entry through to the living space. The exisiting home had great potential but didn’t showcase any of the owners personality. The decor was mismatched, there was no specific interior style or colour palette. To breath life into the exisiting spaces an earthy colour palette was introduced. To showcase the families love of travel and mid century style a gallery wall was created in the entry and mid century furniture introduced which set the tone for the entire home. To create a practical yet stylish space attention special attention was paid to type of furniture and decor chosen and the way in which the space flowed. The end result is a stylish and contemporary family home that reflects the interior style of the owners and what they love most.

To create a unique kitchen, we take inspiration from the personality of our clients; it’s a collaborative effort to develop the exact look and feel that best suits their lifestyles. The challenge of this kitchen was to re-build the existing kitchen and adjoining full bath, creating a much better flow with plenty of storage for this active family (as they often entertain seaside). The two-toned cabinetry in both white and laguna blue reflected a true beach-feel adorned with a terrific choice of starfish and shell shaped hardware to draw attention to this creative and beautifully transformed seaside kitchen. We remind our clients that in order to be unique, do something unique! And this is nicely demonstrated in both the layout, color scheme and backsplash design details. Our client selected several hand painted decorative ocean creatures for the backsplash, drawing from colors in the room, and this created a truly unique conversation piece! A glint of sparkle from the white quartz countertops brings you closer to the beach in this impressive oceanfront home. From flooring to ceiling, we created a picture perfect beautiful beach house kitchen that is not only functional but provides a relaxed and inviting feel for these seaside owners.
