We love this kitchen's coffered ceiling, the double islands, wood countertops, and the open shelving!

When it came to the design of the kitchen, we knew that we wanted something timeless and bright. Classic moldings, white cabinets, and brass fixtures all helped to achieve that effect. While we brought in some existing pieces i.e. the loveseat, window treatments and pillows we splurged when it came to the fixtures. One of the first decisions we made were the Gabby barstools! To avoid having too “sterile” of a space we brought in warmth and texture through our accessories (i.e. vintage pickle jars, woven demijohns and heirloom silver).

A different take on a pickled finish! The warmth and richness of the maple grain show beautifully though this gray wash finish. Inset style cabinetry with finished Shaker paneled ends elevate this kitchen's look. A custom hood with onlay accent piece overlook the stove.

Our clients sat down with Monique Teniere from Halifax Cabinetry to discuss their vision of a western style bar they wanted for their basement entertainment area. After conversations with the clients and taking inventory of the barn board they had purchased, Monique created design drawings that would then be brought to life by the skilled craftsmen of Halifax Cabinetry.
