Pineapple House employed windows and doors that could remain open to circulate fresh air. Solar heat and intensity of natural light is regulated by door and window treatments integrated into the perimeter molding in primary rooms. They stack back in the corners and almost "disappear" when they aren't needed.

The guest bathroom is elegant, yet bright and fun. An inset cabinet painted coral with starfish knobs offers tons of storage for guests. We carried the yellow from the guest bedroom in the custom pineapple patterned wallpaper.

We helped build this retreat in an exclusive Florida country club that is focused on golfing and socializing. At the home’s core is the living room. Its entire wall of glass panels stack back, which creates a full integration of the home with the outdoors. The home’s veranda makes the indoor/outdoor transition seamless. It features a bar and illuminated amethyst display, and shares the same shell stone floor that is used throughout the interiors. We placed retractable screens in its exterior headers, which keeps fresh air, not insects, circulating when needed.

Entering the single-story home, a custom double front door leads into a foyer with a 14’ tall, vaulted ceiling design imagined with stained planks and slats. The foyer floor design contrasts white dolomite slabs with the warm-toned wood floors that run throughout the rest of the home. Both the dolomite and engineered wood were selected for their durability, water resistance, and most importantly, ability to withstand the south Florida humidity. With many elements of the home leaning modern, like the white walls and high ceilings, mixing in warm wood tones ensures that the space still feels inviting and comfortable.

Our client wanted their dream home to be an informal place where they could easily entertain and enjoy themselves. We were awarded the interior design and architectural specification package, which allowed us to recommend substantial alterations prior to construction, including raising the ceiling height, removing walls, reconfiguring rooms and entrances, and specifying appealing ceiling, wall and flooring treatments. In this dining room, we added a partial wall and a dark, wood stained transition arch. The partial wall increases the feel of privacy in the room. We cut wallpaper into squares and turned each square when hanging it, to create a subtle, textured visual effect. Each corner has nail head accents. We added a gothic-inspired valance to the window treatments and integrated the drapery cornices into crown molding. This creates crown molding along the room's perimeter with a flowing, seamless appearance.

In this cozy Atlanta living room, ottomans are usually stored in front of the fireplace. Lightweight furniture like ottomans and chairs with wood frames are easier to move when the need arises.

Originating hundreds of years ago in Japan, Rain Chains act as linked funnels and are a decorative alternative to a cheerless gutter downspout. Rainwater playfully dances and flows down these handcrafted copper channels as it is guided from the rooftop to the ground. You will pray for rain once you attach your Rain Chain. A natural patina will develop on the polished copper styles over time, adding to the character and charm of these delightful chains.

-The kitchen was isolated but was key to project’s success, as it is the central axis of the first level
-The designers renovated the entire lower level to create a configuration that opened the kitchen to every room on lower level, except for the formal dining room
-New double islands tripled the previous counter space and doubled previous storage
-Six bar stools offer ample seating for casual family meals and entertaining
-With a nod to the children, all upholstery in the Kitchen/ Breakfast Room are indoor/outdoor fabrics
-Removing & shortening walls between kitchen/family room/informal dining allows views, a total house connection, plus the architectural changes in these adjoining rooms enhances the kitchen experience
-Design aesthetic was to keep everything neutral with pops of color and accents of dark elements
-Cream cabinetry contrasts with dark stain accents on the island, hood & ceiling beams
-Back splash is over-scaled subway tile; pewter cabinetry hardware
-Fantasy Brown granite counters have a "leather-ed" finish
-The focal point and center of activity now stems from the kitchen – it’s truly the Heart of this Home.

This contemporary dining room has a custom dining table with a concrete top that sits on a metal frame. There are two different types of bench seating. In the foreground are benches with an upholstered top in lavendar, and on the other side, there are fully upholstered stools with waterfall skirts. Mohair host and hostess chairs anchor each end of the table. The room's hanging candle chandelier fixture became very popular after being featured on the television series, "Sex in The City."
