Small apartments often mean sleeping alcoves instead of full size bedrooms. Make the most of it with a Rattan bed that makes a stylish statement in white and gray linen with stripe accents and mid century sconce and sculptured table as a night stand. Use a rattan screen to divide the bedroom from the rest of the apartment.

Napa, CA residence, adjacent to a steep rock hillside. My design solutions included a contemporary redwood horizontal fence to help screen the view of the hillside along with arbors for vines that help to break up the long narrow space. I designed a triangular-shaped pergola with decorative panels from "Parasoleil" that serves as an artful focal point while providing interesting shade patterns that casts its delightful shadow along fence and patio and bench below, changing its position as the sun moves throughout the day. The landscape design includes angular planting beds, concrete pavers surrounded by gravel and a small lower-water lawn for the family to enjoy. We designed a freeform saltwater swimming pool to complement the shape of the lot and positioning of the house, and a composite deck were also incorporated into this backyard oasis.

This loggia is the perfect outdoor space to relax and enjoy the Florida weather with friends and family. From the thoughtfully designed landscaping bringing a green wallscape to my signature use of Moroccan desert lanterns. Michael Taylor furniture flanks the space as a #laverne bronze table centers the room.

The master bedroom was reconfigured to open up the space provide a walk in closet and an enlarged master bathroom. Barn doors slide closed to conceal the bathroom when not in use. Taupe shaker cabinetry was installed with marble counter, marble hexagonal flooring and marble subway tile elsewhere.

Large 6 x 18" white shower tile means fewer grout joints to clean, and the eggshell finish hides water spots between cleanings. Board and batten wainscoting continues the white from the shower across the window wall. An 8' high mirrored closet door is handy when getting dressed in the morning.
